China Bowl Express — Restaurant in Charlotte

Ordered two items after seeing the average rating and reading someone state that this was a nice alternative to Taipei Express. Tried the General Tso's Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice.

The General Tso's Chicken was inedible; there were many pieces of rubbery chicken that tasted as if they had been re-fried and the sauce had no discernable flavor. The Vegetable Fried Rice also tasted as if they had taken once fried rice and re-fried with vegetables to complete the dish.

After trying to bite into each piece of chicken to find an edible one without success, I tossed the dish. I took one bite of the rice and tossed it too.

Truly disgusting food. And no, this place shouldn't even be mentioned in the same conversation as Taipei Express - unless you are suggesting the latter as superior in pretty much...

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered the food in my name. The "Manager" gave my food away to another person. $78 worth of food. When I asked to talk to someone in charge of this restaurant, I was told that person is Eric. She would not give me his contact information. Instead, she called him and went to the back to talk to him. She came back and told me that I would not be given replacement and that Eric refused to speak with me. I never wanted a refund at all. Just wanted what I paid for.

I would NEVER recommend this place to eat at and would encourage anyone who is looking to seek other options. This level of customer service is below par and totally uncalled for. FYI, Happy...

First off order using Grubb hub, shrimp and broccoli, fried wings and fries, vegetable roll and egg roll. The sauce from the shrimp and broccoli spilled over everything. Normally this dish comes in the plastic container. This was served in a styrofoam tray. What sauce was left was nothing to be desired. The shrimp and broccoli tasted like nothing I've ever had before I couldn't stomach it. The chicken wings tasted spoiled.
