La Villa 2 — Restaurant in Charlotte

OK, many things about this place before trying the food out. Firstly, when you get here at the entrance, it’s going to look like a grocery store. If you want to try the food, walk straight across and you will see it. Second, unfortunately, they don’t have a menu, you will have to ask what they have and they will tell you what’s available for the day. I highly recommend the green and red salsa pork with rice, beans and 5 tortillas. Priced around 14$ but the flavor was very good. It reminded me of my parents home cooked meals. The rice and beans, well there pretty bland and stale. Not that home cooked feeling. Third, you will have to find your own seating, it’s not the prettiest either, it gives me village vibes of where my parents where grew up. As for drinks, you pick out the drinks from the small grocery store they have. There sodas come from Mexico, so the cane sugar taste might throw some people off compared to you standard American soda but I promise you it’s delicious! Once your done, you pay up front! Overall the experience was great, however if you don’t speak the language, it can be unwelcoming unfortunately. Went there and I was asking questions they looked at me like I was clueless or an idiot .I was just asking about the prices and the food they sell it was my first time. I spoke in spanish they probably thought I was American who didn't know about that food.the women there looked at each other while I was not looking and laughed but I noticed that that was rude .they didn't want to talk about what was good .they were just standing there looking like they had attitudes.
