Talking about the little drive-through-only Bojangles on Independence. I had high hopes for the place before they opened - since I had gotten food poisoning at the old Bojangles on Randolph Rd (next to ChickFilA). This is the last time I give them another chance. This was at 7pm and I was the only customer there during the 10 minutes I was there - they may as well close it back down.
First there's the AI order robot: "Would you like a combo?" "No" "What would you like?" "A grilled chicken sandwich" "Would you like to make that a combo?" "No"
Then there's the cashier telling me to pull up, into the rain. When I ask why, since there's absolutely noone behind me, I'm told: "Because we're on a timer."
Later the manager, Isaac, comes over to tell me that they're out of pre-grilled chicken, so it will be at least 8 minutes; he also tells me he tells the cashier to do the pull-ahead thing because his General Manager, Tarantino, tells him to. I politely suggest that this GM knows next to nothing about customer service or this particular business. I told Isaac that if he preferred, he could refund me my money, which he took me up...
Read moreI got food poisoning on the 26th of may and symptoms started on Tuesday the 27th evening. What I thought was a normal bathroom run turned into something more impromptu and severe. As of the date of this posting, I am still dealing with the issue. What I ate from there? I got the chicken supremes. I had a conversation with a friend who was able to state the location of this Bojangles and exactly the same “supremes” meal Prior without me even going into details because they too got sick. After the conversation with the friend, I will be calling the health department and corporate and possibly a lawyer especially if it’s investigated and found to be more probable than not. Fair warning, if you eat at this location keep track of what you going forward as to be able to track where you got sick if you do. I am calling the health department...
Read moreI love the building design. You are able to see the Biscuit Baker (Ms May), which makes the best biscuits I've had in years. I stopped eating Boj's because they were heavy & and overcooked, but she made them so light & fluffy that I could eat them. I'm back Boj's as long as Ms. May is making them. But get this, I asked the girl at the window what the bakers name was to let her know that she was doing a fantastic job. The 3 people at the window did not know the lady name. How do you not know who people you working with name. Well, the young lady said I'm just here to work. O Wow!! Really! I said. Someone finally got Ms. May to come to the window for me to let her know that she was doing a fantastic job. Again, thank you, Ms. May for giving me an...
