Subway — Restaurant in Charlotte

A friend and I met up for lunch here. There were 2 workers, a male and a female. My friend had already started ordering when I walked in. I distracted her so she turned her head for a second. I heard her ask the guy if the cheese he put on her sub was pepper jack or American. She said I wanted pepper jack. He said, "yes it pepper jack." When we got to the table we looked at it and it looked like American cheese. I took the sandwich back to the counter and asked if he could please remake the sandwich because it had the wrong cheese on it. He said, "no I make this sandwich myself. I no make mistake" I asked again and again he told me no. I said do I need to call above your head. He said, "yes". When I asked for the owners number, I was floored when he said he was the owner. After I said that I wanted the corporate number he changed his mind and said he would make the sandwich. Literally the entire time he was remaking the sandwich he was running his mouth. Said, "I work hard for my money" Ummm excuse me do you not think the people that spend money there don't work hard for their money as well?! I mean I know I do! This was the WORST Subway I have EVER been to. Both my friend and I have worked at a Subway so we know how it is, but at the same time if you are going to be rude to your customers they are going to get rude back to you! There won't be any money to "work hard for" if you run everyone off by being...

This is a strange Subway. The food is good and service is quick, for the most part. But the people behind the counter always come across as not wanting to be there and not too interested in giving the customer a good experience. I've actually gone to a Subway further away because I just didn't want to deal with the people here. My last trip I waited about 5 minutes for the young woman to get off the store phone to take my order. Maybe she was talking to her boss, she sure wasn't interested in my order or in greeting me either. It's small things like this that drives business away. Whenever I'm in the mood for a sub, I have to ask myself, "do I want to deal with these people today?" So, this Subway doesn't rate very high in my book. Too bad because it is conveniently...

Honestly, worst subway I've ever been. And I'm a fan. There's a manager he seems to be from middle east(no hate cuz im too) with glasses. He's the worst when serving, he won't even give you the ingredients normal portion. He would even tear apart the veggies in order to spread them(like come on dude seriously!? Who tears apart the spinach!?). So, if you are looking for a nasty attitude and the most poorly sub you have ever eating. Definitely try it out! Cuz they suck. I'll keep eating my subs...
