UPDATE 12/13/2023: Three weeks and literally no comment from management nor from owner(s). Iāll proceed accordingly. Sadly, I recommend folks not spend money in this restaurant IF they support such criminal activity against their paying customers inside their establishment.
Would appreciate the proprietor connecting with me regarding a serious incident in this restaurant this morning. Please respond with best contact info and I will get in touch. Iāve been visiting this Chick-Fil-A location since it opened, long before their redesign. This morning, as I always do, I parked and started to head in. A guy in the lot kept harassing me, asking me to come over by his car. I said no and went inside. I ordered, paid and sat down to eat breakfast. Chacha is amazing, she provides great service, nice, engaging. The guy outside came in - and started harassing me in front of the staff. They asked him to leave. More than once. I told him without raising my voice to simply order his food or leave - but leave me alone. He yelled at me and approached my table in a threatening manner. He had a small bag with him - at least 3 employees saw it. I did not know what he had in it. Chacha said āIf you donāt leave, weāll call the police.ā He headed to the door and.. They all heard him then threaten me with physical harm. He said āYou donāt know what I can do. Iāll get you outside.ā I raised my voice to tell him again to leave or I would call the police myself.. because he threatened me. My issue is with the so-called Assistant Manager, a very young dark haired gentleman who then told me quote āIf you donāt stop, Iāll make you leave too.ā Youāre going to kick a paying customer out of your business after I was threatened inside your dining room?! I asked for his name and the owners name and contact information. He did not provide and only said āI am a manager.ā Had the actual manager been there, who is a great guy, I believe this would have been handled differently. I have contacted my attorney here in Charlotte - itās just after 7:00 AM. In the end, it was this managerās responsibility to contact police, provide a safe environment for me as a paying customer in this restaurant. Too bad he doesnāt understand how a business should be run. Chacha should be managing this store. She supported my position, tried to handle but the āmanagerā kept cutting her off. Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. Worst employees ever at this location. I've never been happy with customer service at South Blvd, I really don't know why I keep going back. The guy taking my order was rushing me so much, I could barely even finish speaking before he would cut me off and say "what else?". I would have completed my order & told him everything I wanted if he didn't keep rushing me by saying 'what else' after every item I ordered. They're doing too much by trying to squeeze in a 3rd row for ordering. I couldnāt even get between the cones & the dumpster, I ended up having to run over a cone so that I wouldn't hit the dumpster. All while the employees are watching me try to squeeze through ¬ come over to try &move the cone. I go up to the front to get my food & couldn't even pull up all the way since it was too narrow. I couldn't even exit the drivethru! The employee even looked at my car and the path and was trying to figure out how I would get through. They handed me a milkshake that I didn't order& he looked at my receipt &said I was charged for it. So I had to ask for a refund, got the refund & I could hear the girl at the window getting an attitude about it. I told him the person who took my order was rushing & must not have been paying attention. Then they asked for the shake back-um COVID!? I told them it was their mistake &they're just going to throw it away so there's no sense sending it back, right? I just wanted to leave and was in such a foul mood after the guy who took my order who was extremely rude and the fact that I had to run over cones to get through the line. I had to ask them to move the cones so I could fit through to leave otherwise I would've had to drive up onto their curb. I've also seen the manager be just as bad with rushing &will yell at employees in front of customers, just so unprofessional and an unpleasant atmosphere. I understand the purpose of a business is to make money, but it should not be done with false advertising to boost sales. Back in July this location ran a promotion stating that any customer who orders on a Monday through the mobile app would receive a free item later in the week. I don't normally eat fast food that often but I decided I would go there every Monday for breakfast. I didn't receive anything. I talked to store manager and he told me he would talk to the owner. He took down my email address and nothing happened after. I called back one time in the first week of August, well after the promotion ended and was told that the marketing manager was sending out the emails with rewards. Why would the promotion say you would get the reward by the end of the same week but now I was being told that I would get an email for all the weeks for the rewards. Again, no email. I have called corporate 3 times on this matter and all they say is they are waiting on the owner to respond. I will try corporate again this week. It's a shame that corporate is not making this franchise owner honor the promotion he ran.
