My family and I entered into Nordstrom Rack with a bottle of soda and water in our hands that was previously purchased from the nearby Dollar Tree. Loss Prevention was NOT standing by the entrance, in which they usually are. I wish someone was so that they could have witnessed the drinks in our hands. Upon checking out I witness Felicia, the sales associate, aggressively hand the bag to my little cousin. My little cousin walked away upset and Felicia irritably shouted "you left your receipt." I asked what's going on because I could feel the tension between the two as I approached. My little cousin stated that as Felicia was checking her out she asked her if she was buying the soda. My cousin response was "no ma'am I purchase this else where." Felicia replied with a sarcastic mmm hmm. Being that my little cousin gave a her a respectful response, there was no need for Felicia attitude. So I then turned to Felicia and asked her do they sell soda here. She looked at the half empty water bottle in my hand and said yes and WATER TOO. I instantly felt falsely accused and understood why my little cousin was so upset. The water and soda bottle purchased from Dollar Tree are completely smaller than the average 16oz soda that is sold ANYWHERE because it is a dollar value item. I never even noticed that Nordstrom Rack sold beverages, which is why we purchased drinks before we came. This is no way to treat a customer who is making a purchase with their hard earned money. Felicia showed me that she does not recognize the products that are sold in the store and definitely has a lack of judgment. I asked to speak to the manager and she said sure. As I was talking to the so called manager Felicia began smirking the entire time which made me believe I was not speaking to the correct personnel. I became even more upset and asked the manager for the corporate office number. She went to the back and gave me a 1-800 number, in which later I found out it was the number to customer service for online purchases. This so called manager was also unapologetic and made me feel that the issue wouldn't be handled. I wanted to return the purchase so bad but my little cousin really liked the pants and is so young and doesn't understand how this is unacceptable. I don't know what type of twisted joke these two were playing but Felicia and the so called manager were completely unprofessional! Nordstrom Rack employees not only defamed my character, but insulted my intelligence and humiliated my family and I. This was a disgrace to our character. Nordstrom Rack will never get another...
Read moreSo today while visiting this store apparently they had a guest security officer. My family and I walked through the door and proceeded to look at some sunglasses that were at the door before putting them down and walking off through the store. My sister and my daughter went toward the back of the store to look at shoes which we ended up trying some on her feet that fit perfect. Of course like most kids she wants to walk around with them on. We continue to walk through the store when we notice that the guy who was at he front door was now at the back of the store near us again. He appeared to be on the phone when my boyfriend pointed out that he was security. I paid no mind to it and we continued to go through the store. As we approach the front and come out near the registers I am standing in line trying to decide on a drink and the man appears again and says into his mic that my daughter has shoes on her feet the ones I was standing in line to purchase. He followed us thought the store the entire time to ensure that I paid for the shoes. When he was approached about following us he denied his actions and didn’t want to give up his name. Upon calling corporate and speaking with the store manager this guy was visiting security. No actions have been taken for this and considering it’s 2022 racial profiling is ridiculous. I hope they will take action against this security officer for his actions because I was definitely quite disturbed especially because I have never experienced anything like...
Read moreWow. I moved away in 2018 and moved back excited to have the Rack again!! ...and not the place it used to be. I went in a few nights last week.
Disorganized, a $200 shirt next to a $3 shirt. Clothes on the floor, shoes on the floor. Just not great merchandise presentation, especially in ladies clothing.
First night look around, couldn't find anyone to help me. Went to the fitting room, thought it was self service; but nope here are all the employees hiding behind a wall. On their cells, hanging out and watching videos. Tried on some items. I saw a dress on a garment rack behind the wall I was interested in, but someone was rolling it out the back. I asked an employee if I could see it and they said they had to take the rack to the back of the store...if they are quarantining this is VERY dated procedures. Any other place has the garments outside so I can look at them. Disappointing. But not worth fighting over.
Went in a few nights later and I did see employees on the floor...on their cells. It's very off putting and made me want to leave. I don't know if they only hire high schoolers. It used to be full of people in green shirts willing to answer basic questions. Now I can barely find anyone in blue apron, and when I do they seem irritated when I ask a simple question. Maybe this is a Covid-19 casualty, but if your employees don't want to be there,...
