There was only one register open with one cashier pleasantly checking everyone out. I and about 13 other customers waited in the only line open for fifteen minutes or so before another associate was called to open an additional register. The line had gotten so long that it went through to the second row of aisles in the store. The new cashier employee told the Caucasian woman at the very end of the line to come to her register. I informed the employee that we had been in line for ten to fifteen minutes and we should be checked out before that lady because she wasn't even in line. The cashier told me that she, herself pulled that lady from the line and told her to come to that register. I again told her that that was not fair to all of the people who were waiting patiently in line with the one register open and that she could see the line of people before her was going through to the next set of aisles. She started checking the skipper out and I said that that is ridiculousness at its finest and corporate offices definitely would not agree with this. That cashier said that it didn't matter and continued to check her out. Then, ANOTHER cashier at another register let a couple walk right from shopping to her newly opened register and skip us yet again! Other people at that point pointed out the new skippers and the employees again continued checking them out. The employees were extremely rude and disrespectful of paying customers and I will never shop there again until this is addressed...
Read moreI was at this location on Wednesday afternoon 12/20/23 and the girl on the first register near the discounted items was one of the rudest cashiers I have ever seen. She didnt ask me whether I found everything ok or how my day was going. She stared directly at me and didnt even have a smile. When it was time for my receipt, she teared the receipt out of the machine and nearly threw it at my hand. If you ask me, her face was giving me a bit** resting face. I told her thank you and she didnt respond. I dont what I did to her but it was one of the worst experiences I have had at Dollar Tree and I wont be returning to this location ever again. I normally dont right negative reviews like this but Dollar Tree has to do better at this location. You never know what people are going through in life and to have such bad customer service is detrimental to business. This is why people end up in arguements or worse. I thank God that I have peace of mind and didnt say what I felt like saying to her. North Carolina is the worst when it comes to Customer Service and it shows in most retail stores. I will be taking my business to Target where I am respected or to another Dollar Tree Location even if I have to drive an extra 15 minutes. This woman should be...

Were was probably when they had more employees and a better manager. The manager at the dollar Tree store (near AMC Theater) was very rude. I had to use the bathroom real bad and I asked politely if I could use the associate's bathroom because I had to go real bad and she said no. Even though she never said a racist remark to me, her attitude is that of a racists person. The store associate however was friendly. I even reported it to corporation and they never got back to me.
