I had a wonderful stay at this Hampton Inn & Suites. I am a dedicated Mariott member but the management at this Hampton location blew my mind. I previously had a poor experience at a location in South Carolina and vowed never to book with Hilton again. While attending the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour last night, I found this hotel reasonable when booking. I used the app to make my reservation. I traveled with my chihuahua so finding a suitable hotel was important for us both. The app was excellent. It allowed me to choose a high floor which gave me a peaceful nights rest and peace of mind. Upon checking in I met Miss Tracy who helped get me to my room quickly. She worked the desk my entire stay and was wonderful. The gentleman who works the night shift was wonderful as well. All the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I observed them engaging with guests pleasantly and professionally. I have never had this experience at the other locations. Tracy, Manager Makaleigh & Jessica all wonderful. The gentlemen as well.
My room was on the 4th floor furthest from the elevator. It was peaceful. The mattress was so comfortable I did not want to wake up. I went down for breakfast about 8:45. I enjoyed the frittata, sausage & made some oatmeal. After a long concert night, it was just what I needed. My dog enjoyed walking throughout the property outdoors. There was plenty of land for him to roam with 3 doggie bag stations and cans. They keep this property immaculate. They have an outdoor pool that is unfortunately not located in a shady area. The complaints I have are more superficial. The Hampton needs to consider air fresheners for all common areas & each floor and all rooms. There is always a lingering odor. Not sure what that is. The Mariott uses the same air freshener for each property. Please research this. The shower heads need to be updated. Consider a rainfall shower-head for guests to enjoy. I don’t love the Zero products either. Aside from my wishlist, I will choose this as a budget hotel for stays...
Read moreWe sent my husband to this location for a one-day retreat to attend a virtual Men’s Conference through our church for a Father’s Day present. (We’ve stayed here a few times in the past, and this location was his preference.) I’m so glad I booked according to his request. From the moment I walked into the lobby, Ms. Jessica at the front desk greeted me with warmth & welcoming. She accommodated both special requests that I had for room type & location, and extended check-out. Jessica also prepared an extra parking pass for me in case I needed to return to the property.
The room (a non-accessible King suite) was PERFECT! Spotless & clean, spacious, well-laid out, and complete with desk, fridge, kitchen sink, and a microwave.
I normally “touch-up” our hotel rooms before we settle in to make sure the space is clean to our standards. However, this room was honestly thoroughly cleaned, and a taxing effort was not required to give me peace of mind. The rest was simply adding my special touches (aroma & spa essentials, favorite snacks, and setting up the workspace) so Hubby wouldn’t have to worry about a thing! I even had a delicious dinner delivered hot just as he arrived. He was blown away!
So, we DEFINITELY will be returning. This location may not be the “fanciest” Hilton in town, but our experience was BEYOND classy & definitely 5-stars! Just goes to show that many times, the simple things (attentive service, courteous communication, CLEAN facilities, and great accommodations) can go a long way in the hospitality industry. EXCELLENT work, Hilton and the Hampton Inn & Suites Team!

Read moreWe had our Family Reunion, great location and very modern. Staff was friendly room was clean. HOWEVER, THE GENERAL MANAGER CHRIS WOOD WAS HORRIBLE AND MAYBE SHOULD THINK ABOUT ANOTHER CAREER BECAUSE HOSPITALITY IS NOT IT!!! I got checked into a room and went to the pool and talked with family. A few HOURS after checking in we were locked out our room and didn't know why. Staff said I was giving the wrong room and don't sit on the bed nor touch anything so they could rent it. I said too late, the phone was by the bed I'm on it now. Staff said I could stay if I paid the difference. I said I would be happy to change rooms tomorrow but right now we are tired, im not moving and I'm not paying extra it's not my fault. This is where Chris Enters the problem. He threatened to call the cops, if we didn't move. Then came in the middle of the problem, I said you didn't do your research before calling me. He told me he would look at the video and audio and Hung up on me. He never called back, my husband went to talk to him he was nasty with him.😤 That was it for me I just wanted corporates number. He came at me screaming again and I just said I wanted corporates number I'm done arguing. By this time people in the hotel and my family members were looking. Chris turned to a different person and gave me the room for comp. After all of that... I'm still exhausted and...
