I had previously enjoyed my time here, so I decided to bring a friend and give it another shot. Unfortunately, my experience was a major letdown this time around. Rosita, who had previously provided excellent service, seemed off and unenthusiastic. I had to repeat my orders multiple times, and she gave off a vibe of not wanting to be there. At some point we really considered just having a drink and leave.
The hostess, who was also serving tables, was a different story altogether. Despite being super busy, she was attentive and managed to salvage the experience.
The ambiance and decor feel a bit old-fashioned and lacking in TLC. It's surprising that management isn't more involved in maintaining the atmosphere.
One major issue was the menu - it's enormous and overwhelming. With so many options, it's difficult to choose what to order. I think the restaurant would benefit from streamlining their menu to focus on staple dishes and simplifying the options. Less might be more in this case.
On the plus side, the food portions were generous, and the food was tasty overall. The drinks were also large, with the margaritas being a highlight - though be warned, the large ones can pack a punch!
Despite some positives, my overall experience was marred by poor service, overwhelming menu options, and ambiance issues. I'd hesitate to recommend this place or...

Update: So, this used to be my go to spot. It's close to home, the owners have always been super friendly, and the food is great. The past two times I've been have been horrible. Most recently, I went to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and 1st and foremost, we did not get any party favors. The people all around us got them, but we did not. Now the service. The waiter was friendly, but he took an awful long time with our order. It wasn't busy, but he took soo long, that the couple that came before us, got their order, ate, ordered a drink from the bar, drank it, paid and left before we got our food. 2 Chimichangas, arros con pollo, and a burrito. Let's discuss the food. The arros con pollo was spot on, but the Chimis were HORRIBLE. Tasted like it was cooked in oil and water, deep fried and topped with watery sour cream and guacamole. This used to be a weekly spot for us, but after 1 bad experience, I decided to back off. After a year, we tried to go back, and the food was okay, then this last time, I don't think I can go back. It's too bad too. But it looks like it's time to find a...
Read moreThe absolute worst customer service!! Three of us came to dine. The waitress was either new or as terrible as the service was here. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and it was not brought to the table til 5 mins after we received our meals. Once we got our meals only ONE of the THREE were correct. The terrible waitress came to our table and she was confused as to how two orders were wrong. I asked for the menu to show her what was brought was not what was listed in the menu. She says she’s going to get the manager. The manager NEVER comes and she and him continue to avoid our table. I then walk up to the front after waiting 25mins for him to come to our table. He speaks to me in a very rude abrasive manner saying he wasn’t told to come to our table and that he would be over shortly. He FINALLY comes and all three of us are explaining what happened and how we didn’t even get a new meal put in. They never did anything to fix the situation. They didn’t bring the check nor apologized and it was our first visit. So we left and will never return, obviously they did not want OUR business. Horrible horrible...
