I called in an order for pick up at 4:21 pm on 1/9/2019. When I first called, the person that answered the phone immediately said "we do not deliver to your area -- no greeting - "hello" or "good afternoon". After I stated that this is a pick up order, there was silence and then finally he asked what I wanted to order. I made my order and then asked him how long that would take -- because he did not state the usual --"it will be..." He said let me check... came back and said it will be 4:43. I had to look at my car's clock to see what the time frame would be. I headed to the Pizza Hut and parked and waited until the quoted time. When I walked up to the counter (there was NO ONE in the restaurant)-- the young man behind the counter did not address my presence. I looked at him, he was looking at me - I finally said - "good afternoon". Then he began to ask for my information to look for the order. When he entered my phone number - he stated that there was no order. I confirmed the restaurant number and showed him the number in my recent call log on my cell phone so that he could see that this was the restaurant that "supposedly" took my order. He then called a coworker up to the counter and asked if he had an order for me. That coworker said he may have given it out. They both check receipts, checked the pizza warmer, and then kept going back and forth about who may have taken the order. At this point, I was so very frustrated -- if they had asked me to "comp" an order - I doubt that I would have taken it. But of course, no such action occurred. I then told them to stop looking, don't worry about it -- I am not going to order anything at this point. I then left the restaurant. I called the restaurant manager, Joey, and described this entire ordeal as well. He gave his standard "I am sorry this happened, I will talk to them" statement. Read more1- Ordered pizza with the note "chz on every slice plz".......Only to receive Cheese on half the pizza. 2 - asked for it to be re-made......all of a sudden they don't have medium pan crusts left. So I ask for a refund. 3 - Manager, I mean General Manager comes out and says they don't give refunds but I can give a credit.....Bullcrap!!! I asked how will you remake it when you don't have MEDIUM PAN crust. She says we can make a LARGE. I said fine. 4 - after about 25 min...pizzas are ready......only to check them to see that they are ......MEDIUMs. Cashier Lied (initially I thought she was just repeating what was told to her). Not Manager but General Manager Lied as well. Took a closer look and it's not my exact order. The kids were hungry so I left (not what I would normally do).... still pissed!! 5 - Called the store when I got home and they kept sending it to the hold music/advertisements. They knew it was me...caller ID 6 - Finally the cashier answers and I ask for the corporate number.... She puts me on hold, comes back and says they don't know corporates number.....Really!!!! She said she asked her GM and the GM didn't know it either.....WOW. 7 - I then asked for the GM's name.....she said Laurie. I said "What's Laurie's last name"...she said "I don't know"..... You're Kidding Right!!!! She said she just calls her Laurie. 8 - I said, ok.....what's your name? She said Katie......OMG (Her name was DEFINITELY NOT Katie), I knew her name. So I said "Oh, now you're lying too". 9 - Not to my surprise....she hung up. Really!?! 10 - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and I THREW THE PIZZA AWAY BECAUSE THE WAY THEY ACTED, I WAS WORRIED THAT THEY COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO IT BEHIND THOSE DOORS BECAUSE I ASKED FOR IT TO BE RE-MADE. NOT WORTH MY KIDS GETTING SICK OVER. ORDERED from a much BETTER ESTABLISHMENT. PLEASE KNOW, I HAVE CORPORATES NUMBER....WAS JUST TRYING TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE.....

Read moreI realize people only write reviews when there's a problem so after the TERRIBLE experience I just had at the Chancellor Park location, I decided I should give you guys a good review! Now some of the workers need a lesson in customer service I will admit (I've been in there a few times just standing at the counter forever with not so much as a "Welcome to Pizza Hut, someone will be with you shortly"), but the food is always hot and delicious! The one time they got my order wrong, they credited my account AND I once dropped my pizza on the ground and they made me a new one so that was nice! I've never used this location for delivery since it is apparently out of my area (10 minutes?!) but the delivery location near me is terrible so I will continue to do carry out here.
FYI, the Chancellor Park location in Charlotte is the WORST Pizza Hut EVER! I never order from that location due to all the bad reviews I saw online a few years ago, but it is the only location that delivers to my house so I figured surely they have resolved what is clearly a management issue. Yeah NO. I ordered a pizza online an hour and a half ago, called and the person who answered the phone was very rude, even said "I ain't got nothin to do with that" and then sarcastically "I take full responsibility, I'm not a driver, but you can blame me." Shortly after, a nice young man arrives at the door with my COLD pizza, he was nice enough (although he told me he doesn't carry cheese or peppers on him, uhmmmm you do know you work at Pizza Hut right?) but the damage was done! I will return to carry out at the WT Harris location which I love. Please do NOT order from the Chancellor Park location, it needs to go out...
