Ever changing hours with this place. Love their ice cream but you’ll need luck catching them open with consistent, normal business hours.
2/8/23 Update: Closed during mid-day until 4 PM now 🤷♀️ Make sure you check hours before driving over. No ice cream for us today. We will drive over to another option close-by instead.
Update: Unfortunately back in October they changed their hours on Google maps indicating they were currently closed all day and opening at 6PM but they forgot it change them back until the end of January! We’ve missed a lot of ice cream and expect they’ve missed a lot of sales. Glad to know they’re open during the day again.
Update: New hours fall of 2021- winter 2022 hours are so disappointing. ONLY open after dark at 6 PM....ice cream at night only. I’m only in the downtown area during the day.
Prepare to be addicted to Salted Oreo...seriously delicious. Finding parking out on the streets surrounding the shop is typically a...
Read moreAn ice cream shop in South End that is worth trying. I've had the Dunkaroo flavored ice cream with sugar cookie ice cream sandwich twice. They were good both times, but the portion size wasn't consistent. The first time, the sandwich was the size of an average cookie. It was easy to bite into and was delectable overall. The second time, the cookie was slightly smaller and hard; not to mention they've increased their prices. The difference between the cookie sandwiches didn't bother me too much, but they're worth mentioning. We must also keep in mind that their sandwiches are premade and frozen, so it may have been luck for me to initially have a frozen sandwich that was easy to bite into. Check it out! UPDATE: I've recently tried the Orange Creamsicle ice cream. It's a very subtle flavor, but is overall an enjoyable ice cream. I'd recommend trying another flavor if you're in search for something with a...
Read moreSo me and my family spent the afternoon in Charlotte and we ate dinner at capiches(amazing by the way) and decided to have dessert and went in search of ice cream and other than Dairy Queen this was one of the only options and it had great reviews..but to me this place is overrated and over priced.$4.50 for a single little scoop..without topping and without a cone.just in a cup..and if your looking for a creamy ice cream.this is not it.we tried 3 different flavors and while the flavors were okay(the chocolate tasted like a melted fudgicle) the texture was like a freezer burnt icy texture and not creamy like I expected from a creamery..if your looking for a nice place to sit outside and take your kids for some icecream(they don’t care about texture lol) it’s always good to support local and small business but it’s a pass for...
