Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Charlotte

We were charged twice for the same pizza. The staff said they were having a hard time with their system. I called them that night to tell them they charged us twice. The employee told me, I had to talk to the manager the next day. The manager never called us, so we called back. He had already left for the day. The next day, my other half went into the store. Again, she was told that the store manager was not there. The employee took down her phone number. We never received a call back. I called the corporate office and made a complaint. The store manager called my other half back finely and told her that he only found one charge. Clearly, we were charged the same amount of money, twice. First time ordering from here. We ordered 2 calzones. 1 large pizza special and 1 regular Italian. Went and picked it up. so then we get home and set down to eat and they did not give me what I ordered. Instead I got 1 regular pepperoni, mushroom pizza calzone. UGG so I call the store only to keep getting put on hold. I explained they got the order wrong so no big deal they just credit my account, next day my boyfriend goes back there and gets my Italian calzone and asked to upgrade it to a large and they charged him $ 3.00. Wow, that is horrible customer service at it best. We will not be calling you again. Ok. Food is average, but the nickle and diming is stupid. I worked in restaurants for 15+years on all levels, but being charged for sauces that should automatically come with a dish is crazy. Plus the 5$ delivery charge doesnt even go to the driver.. So I have to pay for delivery twice + the cost of food and plus tip... I run a business and one of our main tenants is to not nickle and dime customers... Here you get a decent product(not exceptional), but that .005 cent ramekin filled with 1oz of buffalo sauce should not be an up-charge. Especially when you aren't asking for extras.. Just want the sauce on the side for the kids. But at Howies there is a charge for that.. BTW. We can pay for the upcharges, we just feel like we are being treated like fools..
