I ordered a hot meatball sub with a side of mac & cheese, and a cup of broccoli and cheddar soup for delivery. The sub arrived room temperature, it was very dry with hardly any sauce, had very little cheese, and the bread was soft and not toasted. The meatballs were kind of bland and really could've used more seasoning. I only ate half the sandwich because I plan to deconstruct the remainder of the sub and go to the store to buy some marinara sauce and some provolone cheese. I will then reheat and reconstruct the sub for a meal for another day. One good thing was that there were a lot of meatballs. But overall it was very disappointing. I've had much much better at restaurants that have extensive menus with a large variety of food choices. Why can't a restaurant that specializes in only sandwiches do better?! The broccoli and cheddar soup was very good and it was hot. Score one point! The mac & cheese was also very very bland. I added plenty of salt and pepper and it still needed some more. It also wasn't very cheesy and was kind of dry. It was like basically noodles with a hint of cheese taste. I ate some of that and will be adding some more cheese and seasonings to reheat on another day. Also, I paid $10 for delivery for a $20 order. For that cost it shouldn't have taken 50 minutes to receive my order. I really hate giving this kind of a review, especially because I have had other sandwiches from Jason's Deli in the past. My hope is that this was just an off day for someone (or everyone?) in the kitchen. But it totally did not satisfy my craving for the hot meatball sub sandwiches that I am accustomed to from other...
Read moreTerrible customer service! As my girlfriend and I walked in we weren’t greeted which I let slide even though it wasn’t busy and there were 3-4 employees in front who saw us come in. We grabbed a menu & stepped to the side to make a decision because it was our first time there. Once we made a decision we stood directly at the register where two female employees stood there in each other’s faces completely ignoring us for a good full minute or two before I said we’re ready . They slowly stopped their conversation & gave us a snarky look as if they were amused that we had to say something to them first . I asked the girl who put her hand on the register “How are you doing” (because I’ve worked in customer service before & it’s embedded in me to be friendly) , she barely even said fine & proceeded to give me the same snarky look . I told my girlfriend I didn’t want to eat at the establishment because the ladies we’re blatantly rude and I refuse to risk eating at a place that can’t even teach their employees manners (I said it loud enough for them both to hear & they stood there as we walked off) . & I honestly hate the whole race card thing that people throw up in regards to different situations but it was highly evident that the two ladies disregarded us due to us being black or they’re just too immature to uphold a job and rather gossip and play in a restaurant . Whoever is the store manager definitely needs to acknowledge issues such as these because it is...
Read moreThought it was a good idea to grab a soup and salad and enjoy the amazing air today outside. Over 30 mins of sitting outside by the door watch multiple people getting their food after me I finally decided to take my number into the restaurant and inquire about soup that's already made but somehow never made it to my table. The guy was nice and said he would bring it to me. He was the same guy that came outside to deliver another customers food previously... not even 2 mins later he comes out with a cup of cold soup and says sorry enjoy.... I know they normally microwave the soup but taking over 30 mins, having to ask for my purchase and they couldn't even make it reasonably warm is crazy to me... no crackers, not going to warm it ...just here... if that's all you were going to do you could have atleast brought it half an hr ago. I don't recommend this Jason's Deli... they're not busy and everyone is literally standing around talking to one another. So there's no excuse honestly. They were not busy when I arrived talking to one another and not busy when I had to go get my cold soup 30 mins...
