One year ago, I didn't know there was a difference between dumbbells and barbells. My entire life, the gym has been an intimidating place. At 44, I had debilitating TOS and a comical penchant for injury. Something had to change. I decided to do with fitness what I do with any other situation I don't have the expertise to tackle on my own... Hire an expert. So, I filled out the interest form on the FT website and within a few minutes, received a call from Jeron. We spoke for quite a while about my circumstances and he assured me that he and his staff would handle me with dignity and care. They have done exactly that. Joining FT and getting to know the team has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. The gym isn't an intimidating place for me anymore, it's a place where my friends work, listen to me ramble on and on about nonsense, and guide me on my journey to be stronger. And I am stronger. Actually, I'm stronger than I've ever been. My TOS has simmered down and I'm far less injury prone than I was before. I cannot express how grateful I am to these folks for their help, patience, and friendship. If you're thinking about 1-on-1 professional training, you'd be crazy to go anywhere else but...

Joining Fitness Together ranks right up there at the top of my list for smart decisions Iāve made. As a senior citizen, I only have one regret; that is, I wish I had made the decision years ago to work with a trainer.
Iāve been a drop out dozens of times of those 24 hr. gyms, which offer memberships ($1.00 down and $10.00 bucks a month). But thereās several main problems I faced. Without an instructor to guide me or anyone to be accountable to, I found making excuses was way too easy & after a month or two, I was another dropout.
While working with a professional trainer one-on-one, Iāve not missed an appointment & next month it will be one year. I eat much healthier (and yes, healthy food can taste really good), Iām far stronger & all that helps to contribute to a longer & for me, a much happier life. Looking to drop a few (or more) pounds & keep the numbers decreasing as you meet your goal, have far more energy & yes - even have fun doing all that....make an appointment with Laurence or Jeron. As they both have told me, walking in the front door is the hardest part. I can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaving never done a workout in my lifetime, I stepped inside one of those "big box" gyms one day and was frightened away by all of that mysterious equipment and sweating bodies. Since I had decided it was beyond time to get in shape, I thought what would work for me would be a "ladies' and gentlemen's" gym.
I saw that Fitness Together offered personal trainers so I started there and needed to go no further. The atmosphere is gentile and private. The workouts are challenging and ever-changing, and my personal trainer Jeron gives me his undivided attention and professional advice. Fitness Together's trainers are formally educated in what they are doing, which, under their guidance, limits the risk of pulling a muscle or putting your back out as a result of improper exercise techniques.
I have been training at Fitness Together now for over a year and a half, and the increase in my strength and the firmness of my body is remarkable.
You will love Laurence, the owner, for his friendly style and professional demeanor. I would give him and his staff 10 stars if I...
