It was my first time visiting the Jersey Mike's in the dilworth area, and I just want to say...outstanding. The staff on 3/12 around 12:30 pm definitely deserve everything and more. I can't remember their names, but they were so kind & talkative, it made our day and subs worth it.
My husband and I ordered our subs, and then ordered for a family member who is super picky. He sent us a text to what he wanted but was so specific like wants a cheese that wasn't part of the original sandwich and didn't specify the bread, etc. My husband forgot to mention that as one of the staff members started making the sandwich, and when he asked if she could switch something out, she said "Oh not a problem at all. Just want to make sure you're happy with what you're getting." Super kind!!! I mean she already laid out the cheeses and then took it out to replace whatever cheese our family member had requested.
I would definitely recommend this location, and hope to be back with the same...
Read moreIt is absolutely amazing to walk into a shop and they know you, your daughter, and your orders. We moved back to Charlotte after hurricane helene displaced us from lake lure and in lake lure I would be recognizable simply because it’s such a small population of full time people living there and I worked part time in the tiki bar where all the locals drank. This location makes it feel like a small town, it feels intimate, friendly, and they are so kind, considerate, attentive, and amazing. My daughter loves our Jersey mikes days and when I saw they donate to the MS society I became a long time supporter especially of this location. All of the staff are amazing. Food always amazing. Every single one of them deserves a raise and some appreciation. We are talking about small short interactions because we never eat in and yet they remember, care, and treat us like family. Whoever owns this franchise you...
Read moreJersey Mikes is highly recommended if you're on the Keto diet (and the food is really good). I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak in a tub (no bread) and a cup of water. I didn't know if it was obvious I was on a diet, but the cashier looked at me like I was crazy for not accepting the 15 cent upsell for chips and a drink. "So you're really going to pay 8.50 for all that?" She said sarcastically. I actually had to explain to her I was on a diet and I had no use for the drink and chips just for her to get off my back. Like woman, I realize for most people turning down (almost) free chips and drink is crazy, but it really doesn't help people who are trying to diet and already have it tough having to refrain from ordering those things in the first place. On top of that, they mixed my order up with others 3 times down the line so things weren't organized. In summary, great food but service needs vast...
