This review is for the incident i witnessed here at the establishment today. I’ve always like and respect how the original owner interacts with his customers. Nonetheless, i cannot say the same for his son. Due to it being a Sunday, it was slammed in there with roughly 30 people in line of some sort to get their banh Mi. Of course, mistakes would be made. The original owner accidentally rang up the wrong items between different customers and realized the mistake after everything was paid and done. Since they have the new POS system, he had to ask his son (who was busy preparing food) over to help with voiding or fixing the transactions. You could tell the son frustrations during the incident and after a while both customers with mixed up items talked with one another and decided to straight it out between themselves to make everything easier for Le’s. All of a sudden, the son started to yell and rudely talk to the customer who was only trying to help them. He said “if it’s easy, why don’t you come over here and do it”. He walked off then later on scream from his prepping station back to the register “you got to have patience” while his humbling dad was apologizing to the customer for the mixed up. That is not how you handle things under stress. He tried to embarrass the lady with his outburst in a crowded room when her intention was good. He needs to learn from his dad on how to run a business. Good food and services are both much needed for a successful business. He himself should take his own advice, “you got to...

This place is the very definition of whole in the wall which is exactly why so many people love it. Great food for a great price.
It's located inside the Asian corner mall. Go in the entrance on the right and then it's on the right behind the grocery store.
We got the #1 Le's Combination, #6 Grilled Pork, and #8 BBQ Pork. I also tried a bite of my friend's #2 Grilled Chicken. They were all great. I would say the best classic banh mi in Charlotte. In order, my favorites were: #1, #2, #6 , #8. I really enjoyed how fresh the cold cuts were in the #1. The jalepeño seeds give them a nice kick too.
As far as price goes, they're all less than $5. Our three sandwiches were $14 which included tax. You can't beat that.
There's only 3 tables in the restaurant that seat 2 people each. Many people get their food to go, but you can stay to eat if you don't have a large group.
I can't believe it took us so long to try this place. You can't go wrong with anything you get. Come...
Read moreLe's Sandwiches & Café is the place for the best bánh mì I’ve ever tasted. Honestly, it feels like each sandwich is made with pure love. The crispy baguette, perfectly balanced fillings, and that punch of flavor? It’s perfection. You can tell this family-run spot takes serious pride in every bite, and the staff treats you like one of their own.
And let’s talk about that bánh mì—Le’s has set a new standard! If you thought you knew good sandwiches, prepare to have your mind (and taste buds) blown. Every bite is a delicious harmony of fresh veggies, tender meats, and that special touch you won’t find anywhere else.
Fair warning, though: the parking lot is a bit of an adventure. It’s like an obstacle course for your car, but trust me, it’s totally worth it! Once you taste that sandwich, you’ll forget all about the bumpy ride.
So, if you're looking for a local gem that’s raised the bar on bánh mì, Le’s is calling your name. Go once, and you’ll keep coming...
