Update: not sure if they changed management or what but this McDonald's has been on point recently. So much better than before and quick service now! Only negative is the one rude cashier inside, the short little boy, who told us to go to the self order stations instead of ordering with him.
Previous: Will not return. I keep trying to give this mcdonalds another chance since its so close to home for me but not anymore. Ive stopped for breakfast 4 times now and it always takes a MINIMUM of 20 min in the morning to get my order (bacon eggg and cheese and carmel macchiato- which should never take that long). Would leave the line but I've paid my money so I'm stuck and then I'm late for work because a "fast food" restaurant took longer than a sit down restraunt. And 75% of the time they get my order wrong. After sending it back twice last time I just gave up and ate it anyways. Never a straw with the drink. And after recieving my food the other morning, I was asked to pull up and wait 5 min just for my coffee.
I order a cookie tote in the afternoon at least twice a week but usually at another McDonald's close to work and never takes them more than 5 min to make the cookies fresh and bring them out. But I sat in the drive through spot for TWENTY minutes waiting on my cookie tote here. Had I not already paid I would have left.
The last straw for me was today when I only ordered a large coke. The cashier at the drive through was super friendly. I pulled up to the next window to pick up my drink and a lady went to hand me a small. I nicely told her it was supposed to be a large. Instead of fixing my drink, she got annoyed, poured it out, walked away and told a coworker to "go fix her drink." Then I could hear her yelling at the cashier for messing up my order. I looked at my ticket but he had correctly entered exactly what I asked for, and she was the one who had messed it up. Not only did her behavior give a bad impression on the store, it was terrible customer service. You should never interrupt your service to a customer to go yell at someone for a mistake in the order. Fix the mistake, send the customer on their way and happy, and then take care of business. It ended up taking almost 5 minutes for me to get something that should have taken no more than 30 seconds.
I won't be returning after today. I hope the manager sees this and takes care of the internal issues so that service is improved to...
Read moreAbsolutely GHETTO employee's. Drive thru only uses one person to take orders when its design for two. What is the point and why is it design like its meant to do double service. People that work there obvious are making a career out Micky D's, sad........ Always get my order screwed up. No compensation for the wait. Worst off, Everyone they know always comes and gets there large order with discount before you even if you been there already waiting. Guess it pays to have family at Micky D's. I was going to call the Manager Crystal Bailey but am hesitant now. I am going to try and contact the owner. Always! Always!.......... Always messing up.
One girl was doing all the bagging, so she was concentrating on drive thru. No one giving me a simple order. Its Mc Donalds. Is it really that hard!!!?? Are you saying working at Mc Donalds is so complicated that you cannot perform the job because of its extreme working specifications. Are you a moron! How dumb can a person be who can't pack a fry, or a dip. Its never that busy except for the people in th back goofing off. For example, the one spanish girl who is baggin all the food for drive thru and in house orders, the guy workers are messing with her making her take longer by grabbing fry shovel loading fries in fry box for no reason at all just pre filling then when she need it to fill fry for a kids meal. Yeah, I hope these people enjoy working there. That will be there life. My dad use to always make jokes about people who amount to nothing because the drop out of school and end up working at Mc Donalds. Its true. GO there and see for yourself.
Mc Donald workers at one point tried to go on strike cause they wanted 20 dollars an hour. SOme ghetto hoochies want 20 dollars to take an order pack a burger. Seriously?
I work with electricity. In no way would your job ever compare to what I do.
Do a job right! CHarlotte is turning into a SHiit Hole. LIke 1993 all over. GHetto...
Read moreI really wanted to give this McDonald's a better review, especially since it's the closest one by my neighborhood. Unfortunately, I have never had a good experience with the staff, the quality of the food, or the timeliness. We stopped going there at night, because it takes approximately 45 minutes to get through the drive-thru each time. Something about that is a little sketch, as they don't take orders over the intercom, never know which order is yours when you get to the next window, and usually only take cash. I have honestly never seen that before. The icing on the cake for me is the quality of food and customer service, or lack thereof. Mine and my roommate's orders are wrong almost every single time, unless we get something extremely simple, like chicken nuggets. Most recently, today, the order was so wrong that I had to return to the store for them to remake everything we had purchased. That wouldn't be such an issue, if the customer service was better. Instead, I faced a very rude manager who neither apologized or was willing to even know what the problem with the food was. As a manager, I feel that she should know what kind of food her associates are sending out to people. However, she did not care and portrayed an act of annoyance with me. I don't like to complain, but this place and the customer service is absolutely unacceptable.
Side note, yes I understand that this is a McDonald's and not a 5-star restaurant. I don't expect a royal treatment or have very high expectations, however I do expect to be treated like a paying customer. All I want is for my orders to be more consistently correct and to not have to wait 45 minutes...
