Mocco Bistro — Restaurant in Charlotte

I tried this restaurant for the first time. I ordered the classic gyro, which has fries in it. I love gyros. Although it wasn't my favorite with the fries in the gyro it tasted good. The homemade tzatziki sauce was really good. I got the hummus as a side which also had a great taste. I bought the baklava for my fiance which she thought it was good but very sweet. I gave the atmosphere a 4 only because it was empty and I ordered to go. Overall the food is good and I will go there again. Do go and try it for yourselves though and I'm sure you'll also leave there satisfied...

Wow! Such a find! Truly authentic and delicious Greek food, all cooked fresh from scratch with heart and integrity. This place is a jewel. We had the gyros - as good as any we’ve had in a lifetime of eating Greek gyros - and a perfectly cooked falafel. The fresh spinach with feta side was so simply good we had to ask the chef how he did it. Add in a warm welcome and the desire to serve honest, great food: winner on every front. Unpretentious, too and fair prices - Mocco fills the bill...

Stopped in for a to go coffee since Mocco's is solo close to home. Got a hazelnut latte very quickly from a lovely barista! Cute inside-many folks enjoying the indoor area (seating outside too). Coffee was less strong/intense than St....ks which I prefer. I also preferred the $1.45 lower pricccce. Parking lot is manuverable; but it's worth it! Better taste for less.
