Bought an extra large single topping pizza with pepperoni. Brought it home, opened it, took a bite and it was ice cold. Had to reheat in our toaster oven for this to be edible. When we were done, after about 10 minutes, everyone in the house had to use the restroom. To put it cleanly, we all had diarrhea. They gave us some old pizza that upset our stomach completely. I’ve had to go the restroom 3 times since. I can forgive everything else but this is a bit inexcusable. They obviously gave us someone else’s old pizza they had lying around. Very sad about this too, this place is right by my house and I was very excited and had high hopes for the pizza. The customer service was excellent as well. Read moreJust had for first time this evening and very much enjoyed my fresh homemade pizza and cheese rolls! The sauce was really good as well. I'm from Upstate NY and grew up in an Italian neighborhood that had many Italian bakeries and family owned pizza joints. It was nice to have conversation with the actual owner and know they are involved and want you to love their food! Lots of places could care less.
Calzone tasted like very plain, basic, grocery-store calzone in the refrigerated area. I paid for a topping to go in it (green peppers, and the pieces were very thin slivers & they were only here & there. You cannot get a cup of water here. .instead, you have to buy a bottle. They gave me no plastic eating utensils. Thank goodness I was going home, so I could eat with utensils.No extra (very little), container of sauce was given for Calzone - when I asked for one - unless you pay for 75 cents for it & the 1st container that was given was ALREADY pretty little for even a small calzone. It does not seem like an AUTHENTIC, New York-type pizzeria at ALL & they "skrimp" & are chintzy...
