Title: Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Personality at Old Mecklenburg Brewery!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Old Mecklenburg Brewery, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. However, it was our server, Aydyn, who truly made this visit memorable with her exceptional service and amazing personality.
Aydyn's genuine enthusiasm and passion for her work were evident from the very beginning. Her knowledge of the brewery's extensive beer selection was impressive, and she guided us through the menu with expert recommendations, ensuring we found the perfect brews to suit our tastes. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate our preferences was truly remarkable.
What set Aydyn apart, though, was her infectious personality. She effortlessly created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, making us feel like old friends catching up over a pint. Her genuine warmth and ability to connect with customers on a personal level was truly outstanding. Aydyn exuded a genuine love for her job, and it was evident that she took great pride in ensuring every guest had an unforgettable experience.
Throughout our visit, Aydyn consistently checked on us, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. Her efficiency and attentiveness never wavered, even as the brewery became busier. She managed to make each guest feel valued and attended to, despite the crowd. Her ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude amidst the hustle and bustle was truly commendable.
What impressed me the most about Aydyn was her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She effortlessly struck a balance between professionalism and friendliness, making us feel comfortable and at ease. She engaged in delightful conversations, sharing stories and recommendations, further enhancing our overall experience.
The Old Mecklenburg Brewery itself is a gem, with its cozy ambiance and delicious beer selection. But it is Aydyn who truly embodies the spirit of this remarkable establishment. Her exceptional service and warm personality elevated our visit to a whole new level, and for that, I am immensely grateful.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Old Mecklenburg Brewery enough, and if you have the pleasure of visiting, I highly encourage you to request Aydyn as your server. She is an absolute gem who will make your experience all the more memorable. Thank you, Aydyn, for your outstanding service and for making our visit truly...
Read morethick doors. smushy floor but that could happen anywhere so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt. odd plumbing in the bathroom, cool toilet paper display. they take their fires seriously here, had a whole room dedicated to alarms. cool playground full of logs. wife went crazy on the playground, ran around a tree three times. had really cool murals and sound deadening ceilings so even maniacal laughter cannot disturb anyone around you. thats very important. guy behind us said "its like when you plug up someone else's toilet and you have to go into survival mode", i thought it was very relatable. has happened to me before. i had the baltic porter and when i said they'd been brewing this beer since 2012 and my daughter thought i meant they had been brewing that exact beer for 12 years but she also thought high scores in golf meant you were winning so i don't know. beers great. outdoor area awesome. we nearly missed johnny rocket by about 3 hours. i was sad, i was ready to blast off but he blasted off before i could even get there. good signage. restroom sign a little small but you can see it. big place. had fires going outside, that was cool, but people were hogging them. but we could have gotten in there if we shoved them a little bit. we could sit and stare at them and i bet that would get them to leave. if you need a fire on your visit, stare them down until they leave. cornhole but no bags. my wife had her face pressed up against one of the doors and a gentleman and his son wanted to go through the doors and she moved but then they realized they couldn't actually open the door because there are just little knobs on the doors and they had to go around to another door. they weren't doorknobs, they were just little knobs, kind of like little window knobs. i had braised short ribs, delicious. pretzel great, lovin dat mustard. solid solid german activites here. awesome. very small stall door gaps which i appreciated. if you sit at a certain angle in front of a chandelier, it looks like you're an angel with a little halo above your head. just get in here! lederhosen up and...
Read moreTo start my review, I absolutely love OMB. They have the best atmosphere of all the CLT brewerys and have great food and German beer. I normally receive excellent service and have known many employees who have worked here over the years who loved their job and were very good servers. I would give this review a five star had it not been for Cody. My uncle just flew in today from Green Bay. We took him to OMB for dinner as it's an iconic and great local brewery with good food. We waited in line to order at the bar for exactly 16 minutes. I know this because my father sent me a text with a picture of the menu right when we got in line. When we finally got to the front of the line 16 minutes later, Cody decided to serve the random guy who cut in line to the side of us. One of the reasons the line took so long is because Cody continued to go to other spots in the bar to serve other people instead of sticking to the clearly formed line in front of the tablet register. I mentioned that we had been waiting in line for 20 minutes and that he was serving someone who skipped the line. He said "that's a bold face lie" and did a small laugh then ignored me and went back to helping the skipper with his order. He said something else rude but I was honestly pissed at that point by his reaction and straight up rudeness that I didn't even hear it nor do I want to remember. He finally finished with the other person and asked me if I wanted any help and I said "not from you." He immediately said OK and walked to help someone else. This is absolutely not the way you handle a bar or customer service. He was a complete jack a** and I'm honestly shocked OMB would hired someone with that kind of attitude. I don't like to bash people personally on reviews but this guy 100% deserves it. I recommend trying OMB, but if you have a bad experience, just look at the name tag, It's...
