Showmars Providence Commons — Restaurant in Charlotte

We had been going there for the past 19 years and never had a problem until this past Friday. It’s not the customer’s fault if the servers are rushing and don’t count the items correctly as they pack to go items, especially when the customer asks to verify if everything has been packed. Imagine returning home with food to eat with your family to find out that two items were missing. While being placed on hold for nine minutes, I drove back to the restaurant. Granted, I was angry yo waste my time and gas and not yo mention, I was coming home to eat a cold dinner, I did not appreciate the young manager Olivia’s lack of customer service. She had an attitude and was accusatory and implied I was lying. Further to that point, she placed the two items that I returned for in a bag and passed it to me like I was a dog with no apology. Suffice it to say, I checked her attitude real good because I couldn’t comprehend the level of disrespect I received. I entered a complaint on the Showmars website and still have yet to hear from someone. It is my hope that maybe someone from upper management will see this review and respond to me. I will not return to this restaurant, again, so long as they have undertrained managers...

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Showmars. I’ve been coming to this location for over a decade and I’ll never be back.

First off, my pick up order was wrong and didn’t realize till getting home (30 min away). So I called, informed, was assured I’d get a credit for my meal, ok cool.

I return a week later and was told there was no note of me calling or the credit. Once I refused to pay for the replacement I was accused of trying to steal it, ok. I then pulled my bank statement to show the changer and date and was told “people do that all the time to try and get free food”.

I was then told to lower my voice and not yell however my tone never changed, voice was never raised. Mind you, I’m a young black man. I encourage nobody to visit this establishment, especially...

Good was so-so. The place was moderately busy and the staff were able to keep up. Took 2 stars off bc the food was just mediocre. The hummus was plain and actually kind of dry?! 3 pita slices for an entire side of hummus isn’t going to cut it. The lamb gyro was decently tasting, again the dish seemed dry even with tzatziki sauce (not enough of it). Two kids chose the beyond hummus pitas and weren’t impressed with the flavor, although it was a good sized portion. It looked like 2 veggie patties between a pita slice. Someone also got the gyro platter and said it was “fine”, if that says anything! It cost nearly $60 and def wasn’t worth that....
