New Indian restaurant recently opened, so we decided to give it a try. Honestly, it feels quite similar to many other Indian restaurants and could use a bit more organization and uniqueness.
The food was okay but nothing that really stood out. The chicken pakora tasted more like small fried tenders, the mint sauce was fine, but the tamarind sauce was too watery. The tandoori mix platter was disappointing—it only had three types of chicken. For something called a “mix platter,” I would have expected a variety of meats, not just chicken.
The menu itself is very long—almost like a book—and can be confusing to navigate. Some descriptions are even inaccurate, for example, the Mutton Fry Pulav was listed with chicken in the description.
Overall, the place has potential, but right now it feels like “just another Indian restaurant.” A bit more attention to detail, menu clarity, and unique offerings could make it...
Read moreI recently dined at this restaurant and had a truly enjoyable culinary experience. The Paneer Majestic was an excellent starter – tender paneer coated with a flavorful spice mix that was both rich and balanced. The Paneer Biryani stood out with its fragrant basmati rice, perfectly cooked and infused with aromatic spices, complemented by succulent paneer pieces. The Navratan Kurma offered a delightful medley of vegetables in a creamy, mildly sweet gravy, making it both hearty and comforting. Paired with the soft, pillowy naan, the combination was simply perfect. To finish, the Mango Lassi was refreshing, smooth, and had just the right level of sweetness, serving as a wonderful conclusion to the meal. Overall, the food was exceptional in taste, abiance is too good. highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic...
Read moreOne of the worst indian restaurants in charlotte. Looks like they opened recently and was curious to try it out.
We have a big group with both adults and kids total of 10 members ordered a variety of items starting from soups, appetizers and main course.
Not even 1 item was average all of them either below average or even worse.
The Naan breads seems either pre-made or reheated , wr got 4 different appetizers tawa fish, panner tikka , chicken tikka kebab all of them literally had the same masala and was very dry.
The service was very slow it took them over 30 mins to bring over the first dish
Would not recommend...
