Gold Club of Charlotte — Restaurant in Charlotte

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid the Gold Club of Charlotte. I hate to say this for the woman who are honest and just trying to make a living. But this club allows for scammers to continue to be employed there. Had a girl tried to scam me out of some money a couple of months ago. Went to management and got most of my money back. Went tonight and the same girl was there I'd had problems with in the past was there. I stupidly thought she'd learned her lesson with me. So I went upstairs with her. Got about two songs and she wanted $150 Then another girl walks up and first girl tries to get me to get out more money to have the two of them. Went downstairs and asked to speak with a manager The manager on duty says something to the effect about how this girl doesn't work nights normally, and when she does she cause problems. Another woman I'm guessing a supervisor tells me not to give the girl more money than I'd given her for the couple of dances, and tells me she'd already clocked the girl out. From my own experiences and talking to other girls. This girl has been a problem for a long time, been fired and brought back and still...

The hostess and bartender were lovely, the overall experience was great. Most of the entertainers were inviting. However, the DJ was more annoying than the music he was playing. Guy didn’t know how to keep it from one era to the other, and fade effectively. I spent a thorough amount of money here, just to be thrown out due to an entertainer falsifying accusations on my behalf that I insulted her “bad eye” (blepharospasm) and said that “They should not hire people that looked like her” simply because I said I didn’t want a dance from her. I was very friendly, and spoke without any condescending tone. When I denied such accusation, Management resorted to throwing me out anyway, and refused any form of explanation. Out of all the strip clubs in Charlotte, I wouldn’t return to any of them again after visiting Gold Club. As soon as we walked in the door, Tanya greeted us with a huge smile and a pure southern hospitality. She made us feel like regulars and it was our first time. When we sat down we were approached by a beautiful dancer named Joey who gave us the run down of everything the club had to offer. Then we were joined by Mandy who was equally as gorgeous.
