Wawa — Restaurant in Charlottesville

My husband and I visited there yesterday, we usually get gas at the Shell station on pantops however due to the current gas crisis they we out. We noticed that the WaWa was now open so we decided we'd see if they had gas they did. We as usual went to the pump stuck the card in, proceeded to go through the measures and it didn't release our card. Not long after standing around Bradfordan employee come to the rescue seeing that I needed help, he then went to get the manager. There was nothing they could do... They took down our info, and the employee Bradford went out of his way to give us $20 dollars in gas while the manager worked on seeing if there was anything he could do.. we weren't lucky, but those men went out of their way to help us. Service was a little slow getting her food went there at about 11:45 didn't get my sandwich until 12:30 but it was only because of doordash orders and new employees were training the light skin nice looking lady that was working the front counter seem to be handling things accordingly dealing with impatient customers well and still getting orders out as quickly as she could me being a manager of certain restaurants noticed this about her and me being out of work right now led me to fill out an application overall when I got home and ate the sandwich that I ordered which was a steak and cheese it was well prepared with everything...

This Wawa was super convenient—just a short walk from the Holiday Inn Express, which made it easy to stop by for snacks and essentials. The store was clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate.

There was only one staff member running the registers during my visit, so there was a slight wait, but the cashier was very friendly and helpful. At self-checkout, there were no bags available, but when I asked, the staff member quickly and kindly provided one.
