Five Stars $11.49 smoked Lucy stuffed with pepper jack & cheddar cheese, topped with crispy onion rings & chipotle. Troy got this one, I got the classic Lucy. Troy says his smoked Lucy was perfectly cooked, juicy & perfectly season. He’s not very good at describing flavors lol. My Lucy was amaze beans! This was our first visit to @tommysmaltshop & we have fallen in love! The ambiance is so quaint, it’s right in the heart of downtown Chaska. Our server, Vickie is such an absolute sweetheart! Very personable, kind & attentive. I had to give her a hug after dinner! & parking isn’t any trouble either. Definitely recommend this gem of a place

Five Stars $5.50 full strawberry banana. Best malt I’ve ever had. Tommy’s uses fresh ingredients except for the mint malts & I forget what else (where they use syrups). First time Troy & I came here, we split a full malt & there was more than enough for two of us, this time we got our own cause after tasting it the first time we got stingy lol-we met Josh, Vickie’s partner in crime as she put it, & he is an absolute sweetheart as well. Very personable, cheerful & like Vickie, I know has a beautiful soul. He shared with us that he’s been with Tommy’s for 7 years.

Five Stars $9.49 50/50 burger. 50% ground bacon 50% ground beef topped with provolone & thick cut applewood bacon..umm, where has this burger been my whole life?! The bacon is absolutely amaze beans! We were googling for a good sit down to go to with our one and four year old and this place seemed to fit the bill.

You walk in and you're immediately seated. The "bar" is reminiscent of an old malt shop, the atmosphere is great with good, light music. We were there at quarter to seven pm and it was still packed inside. Tho we were seated right away, it was a little wait to order however that was OK because they had coloring and chocolate milk for our boys.

So perusing the menu, I was excited to see they offer Lucys, something I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing until today. I order a Gouda Lucy and my husband the smoked Lucy. Wow were those deliciously juicy stuffed burgers. They come "nearly medium" which to us was perfect. Both came with a healthy serving of fries and we each ordered a shake. Their shake were as good as they sounded, rich & creamy. I recommend the S'mores flavor.

Each of our boys got kids' meals and they were so reasonable. $3.99 each! That bought them a meat (one had chicken tenders, one had a cheeseburger), a handful of fries AND a chocolate milk. You can't get that price anywhere. And both kids put their entire meal down.

Other menu offerings included sandwiches, various other burgers, sweet potato fries and rings, plenty of desserts and about 4 other choices on the kids menu (like grilled cheese and a hotdog).

I should also note the servers were awesome, all very friendly and checked in often. Then on the way out, there was a sweet thank you from the owners on the wall. This place just had that tight knit family feel.

Next time we're in Chaska I'm sure we'll visit again. What a great experience....

I went during lunch and it was a little crowded. Due to the layout, there is a bottleneck at the front of the house where people are either being seated or ordering food to take out. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait for a table, so we decided to order take out instead. We were just getting a simple grilled cheese sandwich and french fries. We also ordered 2 sodas. We asked if we could order milkshakes to go, and there seemed to be some confusion as to whether that could happen, so we just opted for sodas. Normally, the staff give you your drinks while you're waiting. This didn't happen. 10 minutes later, we asked about our drinks and the waitstaff tried to ring us up again. We said we already paid and were still waiting. Another 5 minutes passes and I can see our drinks on the bar. I had to ask the person to grab it. My drink order happened to be a coke instead of a diet, so I had to get that fixed. 45 minutes later, we finally got the sandwich and fries. You would expect them to be piping hot, and it was room temperature. How disappointing! The sandwich was a lot of bread with 2 slices of fake cheese. I'm not sure if that's exactly what it was, but it tasted like those cheese slices you have to unwrap. It didn't taste like a deli cut cheddar or anything. The bread was so thick that it felt like I was choking a little and had to drink to soften the bread. It was really disappointing, the service was poor and the food wasn't...
