9 out of 10 me being 1 out of the 9 really upsets me when someone or something put a delay or a halt in my work routine it puts my mood/attitude in somewhat of a hateful scale. I'm an old woman that works 3rd shift in a non air conditioning company at 7am when it's time to head home from all I'm ready for is a shower and a bowl of cereal but not yesterday 07.19.2022 I wanted a Armandos cheeseburger and steak fries so at 9:58am I drive up thru drive thru and a guy named Richard opened up the window and before he could say anything I just voiced out my order of 2 cheeseburgers and basket of steak fries that my stomach wants what it wants I've been off from work since 7 am and waiting on the restaurant to open and do you know Richard smile was so big I seen all of his white teeth and stated that the resturant was not opened yet and he was the only one there to get it prepared for opening at 10:30am but for me to find shade in that drive thru and if I did not mind waiting cause nothing has been put out for opening of the restaurant yet but that he would get my order ready for asap. I told him no that I was sorry to had bothered him opening the resturant cause if the shoes was on the other foot my attitude/mood would have would have changed for the day and do you know that awesome of a man said that just knowing there are stomachs waiting cause they wants what they want it would make his day to give it what it wants and he did just that. Ok first off the whole order taking is confusing. If you walk in and see menus at a table you think you get waited on. No you go to counter to place order and someone brings your food out to you. I'm giving it 2 stars because of the French fries and it was fast getting our food. As I was placing my order I see the cook throw PAR COOKED FROZEN hamburger patties on the flat top. I said are this frozen hamburgers. She said yes well we cook some up in case we get busy. I'm here to tell you it was not that busy. I came here because of the great reviews. How writes a great hamburger review on par cooked frozen patties. The hamburger meat it not fresh. Why not? It only takes about 5 minutes at the most to cook a hamburger patty on a flat top. Besides why would anyone think they should get there hamburger extra fast knowing they are not at a fast food joint. Please stop with the bogus reviews. The chili was ok if you like nonseasoned chili. Wendy's chili is actually better than what I ate there. It was like Hormel. Grey hamburger patty with 1/2 head of lettuce on it. Completely disagree with the Google user bashing this restaurant. The quality of hamburger from this restaurant cannot be compared to the meat you get from McDonald's or Krystal - the hamburger is so big you can barely put it in your mouth. With that being said, you pay for what you get - if you have a problem paying more for a nearly 10 oz. hamburger, then that is your problem - Don't ruin everyone else's experience at this restaurant because YOU are cheap. Also, the wait is well worth it. If you waited 27 minutes and then another 15 minutes to have it re-prepared, then the business was clearly busy. This restaurant prepares tickets in the order they are received. There is no bias. I have been a regular of this restaurant for 20 years and the service has always been outstanding and the food is prepared fresh after you order.
