I eat on avg. twice a week through the drive thru at the Hwy 58 location in Chattanooga. I decided today to go in and eat. No one was at the register however a woman with an earpiece told me she'd be right with me. A young man comes to the register and asks me if it's dine in or carry out. I answered I was eating in. He gave me a strange look like a disgusted look not that this is an intended look but it's how I took it. I proceed with my order and just as every time I've ordered with few exceptions I tell him I want cajun rice and beans mixed as my sides to my dinner. Again the same look. The woman walked up and stood there while my card was being read through the chip reader and then handed me my receipt and told me to proceed to the end of the counter which I did. The young man shows up with a box and I told him it was for here and again the look and I told him to just leave it and I woud take it just to give me my cup for the drink. He hands me a small and I specifically asked for a medium at which point again with the look he tells me he rang me up for a small. At this point I'm really upset. Again as I told the woman that walked up I was specific. So then I just tell them to refund my card. She told me it would take a few minutes because I'd thrown away my receipt. So I said forget it and just walked out. She tried to make it right but I couldn't get that constant look of disgust out of my head from the guy and just left. I will NOT be back as a result of this visit. Now I see why they are going the way of hardees which is breakfast biscuits only and virtually a dead parking lot the rest of the day. Just look across the street and see how busy...
Read moreI live on the west coast and I've been eating Bojangles since I was a child growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina. And even though they don't have Bojangles in the Pacific Northwest over the past few years, a lot of my family members have been complaining about the quality of the food and the service at Bojangles. And that's a shame I find because it's actually one of the first places I go eat when I come to the South. When I entered the Bojangles there was no one up front. They were all in the back doing something so there was not a soul in sight until this one lady who was on break called everybody up and said hey... There's a customer out here. After that a young lady who appeared to be the manager came out to take my order and then she was fixing my food while she was actually on her personal cell phone unless Bojangles gives out cell phones. The chicken was good but I did notice that the leg was colder like warm and the thigh was hot so it must have just came off the grill. Not too long before I got there. The Cajun pintos were excellent. The bread was good but the dirty rice felt kind of mushy so I did not finish it. Inside the restaurant was actually super clean so I give props for that. But I did go use the bathroom on the way out cuz I want to wash my hands since I had chicken stuff on them and there was no soap in the men's bathroom. I worked at Kentucky fried Chicken growing up when I was in high school and customer service is very important and the appearance of cleanliness to the customers is very important so I hope Bojangles gets...
