Krystal — Restaurant in Chattanooga

Went to this location at 1am to order a sackful of Krystal chick's, and an order of chili cheese fries. They informed me at the window there would be a 15min wait and I let them know that was fine. He said the correct total at the speaker for the 12chicks and fries like $30 something dollars. I roll up to the window and notice that even know they told me it was going to be a 15min wait they went ahead and made my chili cheese fries first. So they sat out for 15mins before they were even handed to me. As you can imagine they were cool and soggy. I wait 15min almost exactly. The manager himself Justin Hayes brings my food out to me. Asks me if I had a chili cheese fry, and I said yes a long with 12 Krystal chick's. He goes yes. Knowing it was the manager I didn't check the bag, when I really should have. I get home and it's a sackful of regular soggy mustard packed kystals. Not crystal chick's. I go back to the store, realize they only charged me for regular Krystals at the window, despite telling me the correct total at the speaker. I Tell them I'll pay the difference. They tell me the difference is $20, which was totally wrong. So I ask for $5 off for my trouble of going back and forth to my house, having to wait, and him knowingly handing me the wrong food items. He says he will give me a discount and says my new total would be $19.56. I expressed how that still was not right. He kept saying they were $3 a piece. That might be true if you buy them individually,but Not when you get the sackful. So I asked for a refund instead. It's really concerning when management is not capable of doing money math. Every time I try to give this place another chance. They remind me of why I don't spend my money there. I would avoid this location at all costs. You aren't going to get what you ordered, and you will...

I went through the drive-thru at about 2:00 a.m. on a slow week day, one night last week... Tried the donut holes, which were actually very good, but only because the shake machine was "turned off". Upon paying at the window, my encounter with the woman working the drive thru was extremely odd. I paid with a 20, with change that should have been $9 and change. (Got chili cheese pups as well) Upon handing me my change, she said here's your 20, not chance for your 20, or 9.xx change out of 20. No sooner than she handed me the money the window was closed and it seemed she was avoiding the window until she was ready to give me my food. I realize I was given 5, something change, short $4... I mentioned this to her, a very awkward pause followed, as she looks at her cash drawer, then back at me, asks for my receipt, (not sure why? Wouldn't show the amount she gave me either way) followed with opening her drawer, not denying she'd shorted me but not admitting it either. (I've worked fast food before I know how difficult it can be especially working for the bottom of the barrel pay, and also know that legitimate mistakes happen, as well as customers trying to run scams on employees) Upon giving me the $4, hoping not to come across as condescending, I gave her $2 back, saying I hope if you need this, it helps. Idk if she's a trying single mother trying to care for kids, or support a habit, neither my business... But an awkward, and unfortunate encounter...

I had a pick up order placed at 8:44. I went through the drive thru and was told the food would be brought out to me, so I parked. There was only one other car at this time. I waited 15 minutes, before calling the restaurant multiple times, but no answer. (Lobby is closed and at this point there is a line in drive thru) Finally I knock on the door and get a hold of lady. only then did they start making my order. I didn't get my food until 9:25. 40 minutes after my order was placed!!! When the food was handed to me, not a word was said, not a "sorry for the wait." I get into my car and before fully pulling out, the lady employee (also leaving the restaurant) deliberately cut me off. (I think its the same lady another guy posted a pic of. Why does she have a job?) Leaps and bounds the most unprofessional fast food experience I've ever had. Mortified and will definitely spread the word. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
