So... This is going to be a 100% honest review. (I always do honest reviews lol but this will be detailed. So sit back, relax and let your eyes see what I did)
Picture it, Halloween night... A family wants to do something but doesn't want to trick or treat. So where do they go? Cicis Pizza. Why? Because of the arcade man! :)
See we have two little munchkins lol and they wanted fun. I am a OCD mother who doesn't like to go out during winter to places like buffets and what not. But let me tell you what this OCD mother saw ..
Clean floors, clean doors, clean arcade, clean tables.
Being ocd I pay attention to a whole array of things. I heard that they have certain times they disinfect and they clean through the whole day.
Ya know folks think it's the masks that kept them all healthy, naw it was the cleaning of the restaurants, the hand carts at the store, the handles on the doors that kept us healthy and I was so happy to see how clean it was. No sticky on the floor, no sticky on the table. The chairs a few could be fixed up but kiddos bouncing on them there bound to be worn down.
So the food, I didn't try much but my kids did and my husband too. They all loved it. My youngest got her candy pizza and my oldest went with just straight up sweets lol and my husband tried at least one of every pizza haha my fav was the veggie one. It was good. Thin crust. Tasty. A bit oily on some but all in all good. :)
Now the arcade... My kids never been to one. It took a bit to get the tokens. The token thing wasn't working well. But once we did my girls were excited and sadly the one game my oldest wanted to play (the car one) took some of her money and didn't work :( it was a sad moment to see her upset, then she saw the Jurassic park one that was fun. :) They burned through their tokens. Then it was back to sad moments. Lol but such is a kiddos life. with my kids it's all or nothing! Most times all or nothing means they don't spend the time to actually enjoy. They just wanna see it. Which I fully understand.
We talked to I think the manager about the game that took my oldest money... She said that's not okay and gave us our money back for the tokens it took from us. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon :) it's a cool race car game :)
But all in all other then a few busted chairs in the way back (yes I like to be in the back by where my kids will be playing) and a game that took some tokens.... It was a lot of fun.
And as an OCD mom on germs... It felt pretty clean and safe in there :) great food, great atmosphere, great people. :) You should...
Read moreHonestly this was my BF favorite buffet to eat at so I tolerated it to make him happy. I have went 4 times now and each time I've gotten sick and the food has gotten worse tasting to me. not to mention the price is now a ridiculous 8.99 ,oh and you better specify if your drinking water otherwise you'll get a total of $12.50, bc they automatically charge you for a drink. I'm sorry let me back track and start from the beginning. The first two times I went was because I had a BOGO free coupon and then I had a free buffet for my bday. and I swear to God both times I got food poisoning. Then the last 2 times I went to make my friend happy and I paid full price, which after tax was around 9.50 and it was horrible. I even tried to order a personal pan this time thinking surely this has to be better and safer since it's being cooked to order, nope I ordered a pepperoni pizza , light sauce extra pepperoni, extra cheese and banana peppers, cooked well done( so I didn't get sick) well I recieved a pepperoni pizza heavy sauce barley cooked with very little cheese, about 4 pepperonis and a massive amount of banana peppers. SMH, and I still got sick. the quality of food is trash and food safety guidelines are not being followed, clearly, hint the food poisoning every time.. The last time I went I spent the nearly $10 and made a salad and a bowl of soups. the salad was disgusting so I ate maybe a bite or two then I ate the bowl of soup and I took a chance on a fresh from the oven slice of pepperoni pizza, which I was surprised was the best slice I've had ever there. but sadly that's all I ate, what a waste of $10 bucks. after the last time my friend finally concluded that the restaurant was a waste after he got sick the last two times shortly after eating it. I hate that he had to endure the food poisoning but THANK GOD, I WONT BE HAVING TO GO BACK THERE, to make him happy. Good riddance Cicis.

Read moreWe stayed less than twenty minutes and I came straight to the car to write this review. This place appears to be under new ownership, which is usually a good thing. I assume the two children, maybe 9/10/11 years of age that are literally running around the restaurant, are the owner's kids being employees. They were both pushing the buss cart and ran into a family, the little girl ran into an employee behind the buffet in the kitchen, basically pushing them out of the way so that she could run the register when more people came in, the boy comes to your table every two minutes, I'm not exaggerating, to see if you need anything or if you needed plates cleared and then when he needed to go to the kitchen he would SCREAM "DOOR." As someone who was raised in a family of food service, I can tell you that no one is screaming cautionary words so loudly that the patrons can uncomfortably hear it. My teens had been dying to come out since our Ft O location closed. They were both ready to leave and said they didn't want to come back. It's so loud. I applaud the kid's work ethic, but they really need proper training as they are safety hazards at the moment. Now for the food. The sauce is crazy tangy, the dough is tough and the ten year old boy employee argued with me on how expensive pizza dough PROBABLY is. Pennies, IT'S PENNIES! He initiated a conversation and I told him I wished this location had the Pepperoni Flip. I then explained to him what it was and how it's made. He argued about the price of something he didn't even know about. I really wish my chef sister would have been there. Hopefully, they can work on some things and have a successful future with...
