Huddle House — Restaurant in Chattanooga

My family with me just enter door inside then plan almost seat table but I am deaf confused what the wrong with weird host or cooking man wear glasses and thin guess 30s between 35s white bad attitude his face look same mad only speak and bad body language none respect… then my youngest son interpreter use America sign language explain me what host man’s what said but no excuse!!!! Host man insult still stubborn speak with me then I did use America sign language my hands what said, I am DEAF! Not understand what you speak says? He stubborn blah blah speak not understand read use my hands use America sign language because I am deaf can’t speak!!!!! Be fair…. I not understand people work restaurant only speak none respect and know better about deaf people can’t speak and can’t read lips…..wow he too mean to front my two kids look at man still stubborn and immature not grow up none respect me and my husband are deaf…. None write papers and no excuse habit only speak…. We decide leave from huddle house not yet eat lunch and wish manager find out should fired him! I wish want all people work restaurants must responsibly learn America sign language easy communication with deaf people be equal hearing...

Placed an order an hour and a half before closing for delivery (About 4:30 and they closed at 6pm). The website said that they were running about 29 minutes. After my order was placed and I got my confirmation, it said that it would be 48 minutes. This would have been fine. However, It went past the time that they said and I waited until 15 minutes before they closed. I called them several times and they did not answer the phone. In fact it rang 4 times and hung up each time. I got an email at 6pm and they stated. "Order cancelled - Store Closed" No call or anything letting me know what went wrong. On top of that, they kept the money. I attempted several times to call with the same result. Called home office and they stated that as far as they were concerned I need to take it to the store personally because they wont do anything with it. I have all kinds of proof and I will be going down there. But this should tell you how they operate.

UPDATE: Tried to settle this with them but nobody would. Finally disputed it through my bank and won. After all I had every bit of the evidence that was...

I’m a white girl and they were nice to me but locked my black friend out. I was with 2 black women and 2 black men and everyone here treated them awful. The white lady behind the counter kept giving us the worst looks ever. When my friend wanted to use the restroom they locked the main doors to the lobby. I’m from Woodbury TN- I’ve never ever seen so much bigotry and discrimination. Do not eat here unless you want to spend money on a racist business.

I’m so ashamed and embarrassed that I brought people to the state I live in and they get treated less then. Because of what they look like.

This business 100% should be disgusted with themselves including THE ENTIRE STAFF

Note we had a black waitress and she was nice at first but her boss (the mean white one behind the counter) made her come out and talk to us- saying they would call the police for “soliciting” After we ate we waiting on our friends to finish up and waited max 20min in the parking lot. Even then we still gave huddle house our business.
