Krystal — Restaurant in Chattanooga

The service here has deteriorated significantly over the past few months. It's not uncommon to stand at the counter and have 3-4 employees look at you but not offer to take your order or even ask if you've been helped. And on more than one occasion, I've heard one of the employees say "someone needs to help the customers at the counter", but no one responded, including the one who made the statement.

To make matters even more uncomfortable, on several occasions I've watched as employees argued about how hard they're being worked.

One could suggest these are by-products of the difficulty hiring and retaining food service employees, but there are plenty of other fast food restaurants nearby and in town, including other Krystals, that don't have these issues.

The food? Still standard Krystal's fare, assuming you trust its preparation given the above, but of course, you'll have to check it for accuracy as they often get something wrong now.

Ive been eating here for close to two decades. Not sure what's happening here (bad management??, new ownership??) but something has definitely taken a turn for the worse. Sad.

UPDATE 12/6/18: Thought I'd try again. This time during an off-peak time. Didn't make any difference. The woman at the register had the worst "I don't want to be here" attitude I've ever seen in the food industry. After she rang up my order, she actually said to me "This is more than it should cost you, but I don't know which button to hit. Oh, well." It's a shame you can't give a...

Krystal is one of the mainstays ,that has been in the Scenic City 🏙️ for years. It stays open 24 hrs a day . This is 365 days a year. Wow 😮 ! This does include in climate weather ☁️. In other words come hell or high water 🌊💦 they will open some how 😂. This does take a certain amount of catering to employees. Speaking of employees, many have worked their way up. I really love the way they greet the homeless, and the public. It's such a popular area , but no one is turned away . Some of y'all might get this. Many of them were at one time 😱. They now have a steady job. Many have had some challenges in life from all kind of set backs. I won't even go into detail . Shout-out to management for given second chances. I will give five stars ⭐ for this along. Thanks ! The food is always fairly quickly prepared. The prices are very reasonable. No need to explain about the food 🥑🥝. You will receive a sincere thanks for dropping by. This along always has touched my heart ❤️ when talking to employees. Man ! You guys would appreciate supporting Krystal if y'all only knew. They have never accepted a tip . Guess what ? I leave one anyway. The commercials along brings the public in for meals. Great advertising ! The food is popular to older patrons, as well. It's mostly always pretty good to young people. In the end they are not going away. They are a Billion Dollar 💵 Company. I bet you didn't know ? You better ask somebody 😉. I love 💕 Chatt....

DONT COME HERE AT NIGHT!!

1st time - What kind of animal makes a double cheese without putting a piece of cheese between the meat.

2nd time - You need to get rid of the 3rd shift bigger girl and the old man cook because everytime I have gone there at night it has been absolutely terrible and felt both times that I had been screwed over with Inedible food and pitiful service. Cold food, poor service on third shift, didn’t give me a receipt and gave me fries instead of a chili cheese pup like I asked. She lies and says the foods freshly made after making me wait 15 minutes for 3 Krystal’s and some fries!!! And then ignored me when I honked immediately after she closed the window and sat there for a minute or two. Absolutely pitiful! Better to go buy some food from Walmart folks!
