LemonGrass Thai — Restaurant in Chattanooga

As usual, hwy 24 coming into Chattanooga was backed up as usual, and I was super hungry. After hiking all afternoon, I needed food to refuel. I got off the Cummings Hwy because I was going to the Mexican restaurant in the same strip mall but found this place on the end and had to try it. I walked in and asked if they had gluten-free options. The staff were very friendly and helpful so I had to stay to eat. The options I chose were the padi with tofu as the meat. The tofu were larger than most Thai restaurants and lots of ground nuts. The food came out super fast and was very warm from being cooked fresh on the spot. I had to watch myself to cool the food before eating. The only negative was that the food had too much salt or something in it, but it was still good and filling. It hit the spot, and when I got back on the highway, traffic was moving a lot faster, so I was happy I stopped to eat.

Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes Would I...

If you live in Lookout Valley and have nothing better available then go. If you've ever had good quality Thai and expect the same, don't go here. Pho came with the same shriveled up bean sprouts and 3 wilted leaves of basil leftover from the last 6 customers and 2 slabs of unseasoned leftover roast beef. Red curry barely had enough curry in it to make all the coconut milk discolored at best and no flavor. Also made with frozen peas and carrots you get in the freezer section at Walmart. For decor all that has been done is to rip the last establishments art off the walls. Everything else is the same, even the condiments on the table. At $14.75 for curry and a drink, that's full price. If you're going to serve sub standard Thai, at least...

LemonGrass Thai Restaurant is a wonderful place to get some very savory and tasty food that's not your normal, every day grub. I always have the red curry, and I would have uploaded a photo of this delicious dish, but it was so good, I couldn't wait to eat it long enough to take a picture of it. We have been to Lemongrass twice now. The food has been sincerely amazing and fresh, the staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is nice and clean. I can't stuff this tasty food in my face fast enough. It's just that good. Delicious is a serious understatement. It's reasonably priced for the food quality and I am already looking forward to my next visit. You WILL NOT regret giving this...
