I’m not sure what the issue was, but the service was absolutely horrible. I pre-ordered through the app, but couldn’t get the broccoli cheese tots as they’re not listed. Once we checked in through the app, I pressed the call button on the stand and waited. Our food came out in that time so I pressed the button again. And then one more time. With still no response, we decided to try the drive through. The car in front of us drove forward from the menu and sat at the window, and we pulled forward and waited to have our order taken. After 5 minutes, I backed up and pulled forward, then eventually honked twice. We could see the worker through the window, she walked by multiple times and could not possibly have missed us waiting. I don’t actually know how long we waited, but at least another 5 minutes or more. The previous car was long gone so I finally decided to pull up to the window. We could see several workers inside, including the girl who should have been working the window and was dancing. Yes, dancing. I waited and finally honked the horn once, saw people turn to look, and still got no help. I pulled out my phone to start recording the dancing and talking that was happening while customers were being ignored and finally the window girl came over. I asked her what was taking so long to take our order and she gave no response Other than to (FINALLY) ask what we wanted. I said maybe she shouldn’t be dancing and ignoring her customers but she just responded that they had some “bumping” songs in there. At that point I certainly didn’t trust any additional food they might give us and someone came over to tell the girl to shut the window. That someone was wearing a white shirt and I can only assume she was the manager doing a horrible job because she was allowing her employees to blatantly ignore customers. The manager is Brooke, and I fully blame her and the window girl for refusing to wait on us until a video was being taken. I’ve never had any issues there before, but there is absolutely no excuse for that behavior from either of them, especially since I never even had a chance to be rude and earn being ignored. Absolutely juvenile behavior by employee and...
Read moreWaited for 20 minutes after ordering. We were parked by the window and could see our shakes sitting on the counter inside waiting to be brought out for at least 10 of those 20 minutes, and of course they were completely melted when they finally got to us. We asked they be remade and of course received lots of attitude and a mumbled statement that the machines weren't working right. That may or may not have been true but, sitting on a counter for 10 minutes sure didn't help. He took our entire order (including 2 burgers and some tater tots) back and set it back on the same counter where it sat for another 15 minutes while we sat waiting and watching through the window while other customers were served. My husband finally went to the door to ask for a refund and was told our card never went through and to just leave. This didn't make any sense, #1 our account is fine and we could have have paid for about 200+ trips to sonic, and #2 they were going to give us food 15-20 minutes earlier...with no payment? We pulled up our bank account and sure enough, there was a pending charge from sonic for $19.20. Took another 5-10 minutes to get a receipt showing the transaction had been voided.
Never once talked to manager, even though we asked. Never once got any remote semblance of an apology. Definitely won't return to this very poorly run sonic with a manager who obviously doesn't care and rude employees who apparently either don't know how to look at a payment log or are trying to steal from customers.
Went to Wendy's right down the street and were in and out in less than 5 minutes, fantastic friendly service, food was hot and our frosty's...
Read moreDecided to stop with kids and get milkshakes. We sat on the patio and since it was dark out could see directly into the kitchen since either was light up. We put in our order for our milkshakes, a total of 4. While we waited we watched several times as people (either off-duty employees or friends of the employees that were currently working) walk inside and make/get their own milkshakes/drinks/food. We could see other people pulling up, pressing the buttons, and then leaving bc no one was answering them, and hearing other people having to ask about their orders bc it was taking so long. The employees working the drive-thru kept yelling at the window, "Hey Taco Bell! Hi! Don't ignore me Taco Bell! Bring me tacos!!" Employees were literally running around inside chasing each other and putting ice or something on one another. They put music on and were dancing. All this is happening while we waited for at least 30 min for milkshakes- milkshakes that we could see sitting on the counter in front the window. Eventually my husband asked about milkshakes, and they have us repeat our order to them, and we can see them all asking around about them then begin looking around to find them. They finally noticed them and brought them out, and I kid you not they were completely melted, literally just flavored milk. We showed them how melted they were, and the manager on duty was kind and replaced all of them AND surprised us with a refund. It just seems like everyone working that was just playing. It was awkward and...
