Shout out to Beau! For taking such great care, from taking my order to bringing the finished masterpiece to my table. She was truly sincere in my gluten allergy and made sure the staff knew to take all necessary precautions to not have cross contamination.
I walked in the front doors to this restaurant to feel and see a freshly new prestigious clean restaurant. You could feel this restaurant was new. I walked up to only wait a few minutes before Beau took my order. I asked if they have gluten-free bread to have a club sandwich, and she is yes. She asked if this was a preference or an allergy? I appreciated the question because not everyone would take the time to ask. I said it was for an allergy. She immediately turned to the staff in the kitchen to convey this order was for an allergy, not preference. The kitchen staff stopped to acknowledge the use of the safety protocols for the order. I also asked about what soup was GF to find my favorite tomatoe bisque was available.
I quickly ordered the tomato bisque soup. As I walked to a table, I started to look around at all the decorations, pictures, and how clean the restaurant was. From the floors , tables, to the seats. It was refreshing to see such a well maintained restaurant.
I didn't wait too long before Beau brought my food out to me with a smile. My first look at my order and the smells coming from my order, I knew it was going to be good.
I took a bite of the turkey sandwich that was thick with meats, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. It was delicious. Then I tried the tomato bisque. Oh my, it hit the spot perfectly.
I was so stuffed from the meal, and the warm soup made it perfect on this cold winter day out. Beau came out to check on me a few times and took my licked clean plate and bowl.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely Would I return to this business? Absolutely
Don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself!
I personally am not sure where the negative reviews came from, but my experience...
Read moreI cannot express enough what a wonderful experience I just had at this McAlister's on Gunbarrel Rd. in Chattanooga. Cinnamon, the manager, was AMAZINGLY friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It isn't every day that you meet someone in the food business (especially at a chain deli) who is so passionate about their job and caring toward their customers, but Cinnamon is probably the best I've ever met. When she found out we were first-timers, she went out of her way to welcome us, tell us about the exciting things on the menu, and iterate that if we try something and do not like it, they will ALWAYS happily switch it out for something we do like for no additional charge. When we made our selection, we then ordered with a wonderfully kind worker named Tam, who was also very hospitable. We got to witness another employee willingly help Tam out with splitting our checks, and you could just tell there was such a camaraderie amongst the employees. Our food came out FAST and HOT and it was DELICIOUS. 100 times better than any meal I have had at Panera in years! I loved the attention to detail. For example, I ordered the French Dip and they had placed a small bowl on top of the cup of au jous to keep it hot. I love and appreciate those small details. When we got done enjoying the best deli meal I've had in quite some time (including any Jason's deli meal I've ever had), Cinnamon came out, asked how everything was, gave us free cookies AND vouchers for another free meal! We were so thankful we almost cried. She also introduced us to Kenny, one of the other (assistant?) managers who was also so warm and kind. I will be visiting this place every time I come to Chattanooga to visit my brother and sister-in-law. Best experience in...

This was a to-go dinner order, and unfortunately, it missed the mark. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad and an Arnold Palmer. When I got home, I realized the salad had no chicken in it at all, and the Arnold Palmer was just plain iced tea.
For a simple order, it shouldnât be that hard to get it right. It felt like whoever prepared the food wasnât paying attention. The staff was friendly when I picked up, and the order was ready on time so that earns a few points. But missing the main part of the salad and getting the drink wrong is a letdown, especially after a long day.
Updated Review:
I really appreciate that McAlisterâs reached out and took accountability. Iâve since returned and my order was made accurately, and everything was great. Mistakes happen, but their effort to make things right speaks volumes. Thank you for the follow-up and great...
