Short version: $18 for sandwich, side, and drink. (See photo). That's double the price of the competition. This restaurant has changed drastically since the last time I visited. Pros: restaurant was clean. Large TVs were on entertaining TV. Food came out quick. Food was decent, but not great. Employees weren't mean-spirited or curt. Cons: Unreasonably expensive, nearly double what others charge. Store was out of good sides (no Mac and Cheese, and the only potato chips they had was jalapeno), so had to order cup of soup at additional cost. One would think being out of two sides would prompt the cashier to ask if I wanted no sides, or treat the cup of soup as a side instead as an add on, but neither was presented as an option. Ambience was bad. Music was not not my cup of tea, overbearing, and had ads (one was to encourage people to get vaccines, and the other was from YouTube talking about fighting misinformation). I was generally okay with the music till a blaringly loud sax solo went on for quite some time. Seemed like a pretty dead restaurant. Restaurant didn't feel very hospitable: I quickly ate my food and left. The last time I was here, the place was lively, expensive but reasonable, and seemed like a place to chill and let my food settle before I left. I hope it can regain the charm it once had.

So this used to be a favorite of mine, but not any more. I was such a regular that an employee felt the need to share these pictures with me. They told me this is why my food has been subpar. This is what the soups look like first thing in the morning..... so first they're over 12hrs old and to look like this they're not being kept covered or the evaporation wouldn't be so severe. My chili spud tasted so burnt it was completely off putting. Second, they've been watering down the soups to compensate for the evaporation...... this makes the soups taste terrible. I had a bowl of chicken n dumplings that were as thin as broth. Overall the quality of the store has declined sharply & I'm sad to say i think I'll just find another deli to patron.

If you’re looking for a place to pay $20 for two slices of bread and a whisper of meat, McAlister’s is the spot for you! As a regular customer, I expected at least a decent sandwich, but what I got was comically small—like, did they forget to finish making it? For the price, I might as well have gone to the grocery store and made one myself. It’s honestly ridiculous. Do the employees not care anymore? Because I’m out here spending real money, and all I got was disappointment between two slices of bread.

Worst McAlisters I've ever been to...consistently. I've ordered takeout several times and tried to be understanding but after about the 5th time in a row of getting home with missing items or sandwiches like the French dip missing the roast beef (THE MAIN INGREDIENT!), tonight will be the last time I darken their doorstep. Got home and found out I'm missing the cookie my wife ordered, only 5 chips in the bag with my chicken tortilla soup, and said chicken tortilla soup had NO CHICKEN and NO TORTILLAS in it! The chili was just grease also! I called and spoke with the manager who said she was the one who dipped the soup and she knew that for some time now it has been coming in thin and not the right consistency and she offered no reasonable explanation as to why she couldn't be bothered to warn patrons of the sub-par offering! Please McAlisters, see this and do something! I can't be the only person who has had this happen so consistently at this particular location. The leadership here is awful, if not...

I really like McAlister's food however today has come to an end. I called the McAlister's at this location to inform them that I submitted a doordash order and that I called ahead of time so my items will not be incorrect or missing. I spoke to the manager Mitchell and stated if they could please look at the ticket and make sure my order is correct that way I will not have to call them back later on to have them to correct order as it has been incorrect several times before in the past. The manager Mitchell assured me that the order would have been correct.

My order arrive everything was not correct. Thankfully doordash refund me my total amount that I spent. I informed Mitchell that would not be ordering from them anymore at this location and hopefully any other location it will not be a problem.

It is sad that I had to call McAlister's just to make sure that they will make sure the order is right, and they still didn't have the...
