DOLLIE'S DAIRY BAR has the Best Chicken Sandwiches ever! The Coney's are really superb, add a little onion, mustard,& ketchup ooowee! That's some goodness right there!. Oh to take you out West, try the Western Burger with grilled onions and a side of those Sweet Onion Rings! All the sandwiches🥪 and burgers🍔 are really good. You need to specify how you want it Deluxe, with or without onion's.They will make it how you like it. Each order is cooked to how you order it.👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Yeah, sometimes they may make a mistake but I will bring it to their attention cause I know that they are super busy and it's not intentional. We all have made mistakes. I realize they have phone orders and some are huge, that takes time. Then to fill the ice cream machines and refill the condiments and it's hot inside even with air conditioner but there's a lot of big machines throwing of heat and the employees are all doing the best they can and I applaud 👏them for that. So if anyone complains about their orders getting wrong they are always willing to make it right next time.👌👍 Don't forget early morning risers they serve breakfast too.I hear they make a great Breakfast 🌯Burrito among other things too. Lemonade and sweet tea and Dr.. Pepper are my favorite cold drinks.🥤 So many flavors of great shakes you can mix what you want like chocolate/cherry or🥛 peanut butter/raspberry or caramel/ apple and so on. They also have a flavor of the month ice cream cone too. 🍦🍨 Don't forget those great FRENCH FRIES 🍟too...its fun to dip them in your milkshake. Or they have their own special fry sauce too. The Corn Dogs WOW/YUM! OH OH MY Sweet Potato Fries sooo good ! Try dipping those in Honey Mustard. I Thank you all for your hard work and delicious food...

Response to owners comment - The visit this was based on was yesterday, 12/31/22 in the afternoon. Like I said... I come through when I can so never any issues before. I actually order a root beer shake every time since it's really all I like aside from black licorice. I'm not someone who just gives 'not-so-positive' ratings - I'd rather be supportive and share the love, especially for small(er) businesses. Aside from wishing the fries had been cooked longer, they were great enough to eat almost half of, which is saying that your portion sizes are fantastic if you can eat a lot or are sharing. That shake though was something else! I hope you get it figured out, and maybe after a bit I'll try again. Thank you for the kind response, that says more than almost anything else. 👍🏽

I've visited before and it was always pretty fair- this time not so much. I ordered a root beer shake which ended up tasting NOTHING like root beer. It actually tasted like a strange combo of things... almost like it had been made in a container that had previously made about 15 different flavors. Not only wasn't it root beer or any other ONE 'flavor', but I also got almost a 'sour' taste. Like the combo container had been sitting for far too long without being properly cleaned. 😕🤢 Super bummed because I came through as often as I could (don't live in the area) but won't again. I don't have $$$ to throw away like that, PLUS the way it tasted and the thought of WHY it tasted that way is still making my stomach churn.

*The fries were okay... I wish they'd been a little crispier, especially since I specifically...

If there's multiple people in line expect to wait a while. I know they're freshly making the food, but still took probably 15-20 minutes for us to order when there was only 2 cars ahead of us, not full of people either. The menu listed online with prices is INCORRECT. I was heading there expecting to get a cheeseburger for $3.50. Turns out that alone is $4.99! Underneath the burgers section it says fries and LG. Drink included. Which isn't true. It's definitely an old fashioned burger, similar to frugals (in tacoma.) Which I love frugals. The burger really wasn't that big either compared to what you would get at frugals for that price. I ordered a cheeseburger, side of mushrooms and a small shake which came out to $13.89! Way too expensive if you ask me. The shake was great on the other hand. I got the Creme De Menthe, which obviously tastes similar to the McDonalds shamrock shake and dairy queen mint shake. It doesnt taste fake like McDonalds 👍 however the small shake isnt worth the price either. If you're okay with spending extra for smaller food portions then go for it! However, since the prices are a little high for me I more than likely wont...

Chehalis has a standout, old school burger place... Dairy Bar. I stopped last week when I had a craving for soft serve on my drive from Seattle to Vancouver WA. Dairy Bar delivers a towering pull of delicious real cream soft serve. It's right off the freeway so the stop is easy. Today I returned to taste the burgers. It did not disappoint. The bun was uniquely soft and the burger tasted like a hand formed pure beef patty. Not those commercial, stamped out frozen meat rounds some places use. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños. The thing about this place is there are only 2 windows to order from and you just wait there until it's cooked. So if there are 2 cars ahead of you, you may wait 10 minutes. SO WHAT! Slow down... its worth the wait. So back to the burger. It was great. Kinda like the flavor of home cooked burger, if your mom was a preofessional chef. I also had a rootbeer shake. Delicious cause they use that good ice cream. My only wish is that they had fresh berry shakes like the Burger Bar in Kalama (another great burger stop).

This is a tiny parking lot drive up place. At first, you'd think it was selling coffee or ice cream. But it has a full selection of food from hamburgers to hotdogs and breakfast burritos with the sides to go with them. This place was recommended to me by a young local couple who said it had the best shakes around. I was more interested in food, but I thought I'd try it. I wasn't disappointed. I got a cheeseburger with all the fixings and a half order of tater tots with a diet Pepsi. It was all very good. And ask for seasoned salt on your tots, it's Lowry's. And this is not a frozen burger patty thrown on a grill or food that's been cooked and was sitting under a warming lamp for a while. This is cooked fresh when you order it. There are two drive up windows, but since the food is cooked while you're at the window, there can be a line waiting to give their order. There were 2 cars ahead of me, and I don't think my wait was even 10 minutes before I got to the window. The food came quickly, cooked perfectly, and definitely hot.

The place is like a roadside coffee stand, you pull up to the window and order so not much of an atmosphere. Whatever. I took my double cheeseburger and tater tots and ate a nearby park. I enjoyed it. It was greasy, but I like that once in a while. The servers were very friendly. Next time I’m in town I’ll swing by again. I hear they have good shakes but didn’t order this time. I’d like to see whoever owns this put a little more into the place and see what happens. This place has a lot of potential.
