Chinese Tonite Restaurant — Restaurant in Chelsea

“Chinese Tonight” Has bad food that all taste the same but they have even worse customer service. I ordered $56.00 worth of food tonight. It was after a 14 hr work day. I asked for brown rice instead of white rice. I was charged $1.95 X 2 and given “fried rice” I called to ask about this and was told I “should be happy, most people are”. I said “We have no rice to eat with our meals”. I was told I could bring the rice back and get white and they would reimburse me. I said I was not able to drive back tonight so they said well then there was nothing they could do. I said I would like a replacement meal on another day or a refund. I was then hung up on. I called back thinking I was disconnected. I asked to speak again to the manager an I was hung up on again by the hostess. I’d be very ashamed of my staff and also I will never be back. Too bad, I appreciate good Chinese food, but I appreciate and value good Customer service more. Chelsea...

Unfortunately this is one of the few places I could say that we would have been happier grabbing pizza for the night. The boyfriend order general tso's mild dark and I ordered emperors hot white. I was only able to eat 3-4 before I stopped. The chicken was near gel like in consistancy and was the most bland thing I had ever tasted. The boyfriend couldn't even finish a piece of mine. I tried his to see if I just had a bad pick. I would have guessed it was pork nuggets in sweet baby Ray's sauce. Not bad, but not Chinese. Still, he was able to finish half of it, which is another issue. He eats very small amounts at a time, normally only clearing a quarter of a serving at a time whenever we get Chinese. The servings here are very small compared to most and cost more than most. Only good quality about this place is the head server who works harder than any I've seen. The other 2 just sit and do...

Double check your order before you leave. The food is good, I'll give them that. I don't normally leave "poor" reviews, but we order from CTR once every week to every other week. Every time they have forgotten something or our order has been wrong and we have to go back. Tonight we were up there 3 times. Once to get our food, once to pick up the things that were missing, and then again because they gave us white rice instead of fried rice. The third time I told the gentleman that this was the 3rd time we had been up there tonight because our order was wrong and he half laughed at me... Then I told him, when he came back with my card slip, I did not want the fortune cookies that were already opened (all 3 of them) and gave them back.
