Terrible service. Mediocre and semi sanitary food.
They Take Forever
A few years ago the food was really good at this place. The problem is that you need about three hours to actually get a meal. Something as simple as a Baleada which means tortilla and beans put together takes 30 minutes. It doesn’t help that there is a general apathy towards getting anything done.
Every now and then I try to give them a shot but they come back with moments like this:
“Hi pick for x”
“15 minutes”
*arrive 5 min later”
“It will be 15 minutes”
I go and wait 10 minutes
go back inside
“It will be 15 minutes, walks to the kitchen of the empty restaurant and asks for the order clearly for the first time
I asked them to cancel the order.
Como hondureño da pesar que el personal de este restaurante demuestre que le valen de menos los clientes. Si sos cliente nuevo no te hacen caso y se toman una eternidad para atenderte. Por eso no avanza el país y evidentemente tampoco...

I understand if gratuity is included automatically, but it should be clearly communicated upfront. Transparency and respectful customer service go a long way, and unfortunately, both were lacking during my visit. She did end up removing the tip from the receipt, but because of the way the situation was handled, I chose not to leave one. It's important for restaurants to be transparent about charges and to treat customers with basic courtesy. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience here. Make sure you ask for a full breakdown of your receipt...

I headed there on a Friday evening and was right away welcomed by a waitress who was really helpful when I asked for suggestions. I never had food from Honduras before and ordered 2 "baleadas" and an horchata to drink. The beef one was really good, and I didn't like the fried pork one (but that 's only because I'm not a big fan of this kind of fried pork and I was expecting something like pulled pork), but the ingredients were of good confection. I definitely recommend this place if you' re around and looking for a quick bite and a short...
