Horrible experience ! I decided to go to regular Starbucks location today in Chelsea. When i came into the entrance to head towards the drive through a car was illegally parked in front of the Starbucks blocking the entrance to go through the drive through. I went around him like anyone else would because he decided where he parked was the right spot to talk to someone he was dropping off while that person was heading towards the door. While he was talking he decided to start driving off while not checking his surroundings areas for any other cars. When i was going to take the slight turn in the driveway he did end up rear ending my car . I then got out my car and yelled at him freedom of speech because the least he could have done was simply pay attention instead of driving and not looking. He went on how he didn’t hit my car but he did mean while he now has a scratch on his car because of it. I was very upset which i have the right. I then proceeded on because my car had no damage. I went in the driveway through to order my drink and when i was told to come to the window I then see the employee who was outside who witnessed everything name is REMY. She is a SHIFT SUPERVISOR. She then came up to the window and told me she seen everything that happened outside. I’m thinking she’s understands what happened because MY car got hit where a car was ILLEGALLY PARKED AND BLOCKING THE DRIVE WAY ENTRANCE. She then brought up how she will not be serving me because i was arguing with the other driver and his girlfriend (who may or may not work there) I have freedom of speech to be upset. I was not on the side walk of Starbucks nor in the drive through yet. i was in the parking lot. I did not say anything disrespectful to the employee named REMY. I was also a customer who planned on getting a refresher before the incident happened that was not my fault. This is very bad customer service for someone who’s supposed to be a shift supervisor.I was rejected a beverage for a incident that wasn’t my fault. This location has bad customer service and lack of empathy for their customers. She needs to learn when or when not she should have taken action for rejecting a order for a more serious matter not me for getting my car hit. Please advice on this employee who is a supposed to be a supervisor. Horrible...

Now let’s talk Starbucks. Guys, I don’t know if it’s just me, but the Starbucks around the Boston area are slipping. Weak, watery coffee and a service experience that feels completely understaffed. Honestly, I feel like Caffè Nero and Tatte are starting to take over this city.
Here’s the thing: I love Starbucks. When I travel through D.C., Maryland, Virginia, or even Florida, the quality is consistent and strong. But here in Boston? Sketchy at best.
This visit was… mixed. The coffee itself tasted good (thankfully!), but the service was cringeworthy.
Sarah—who was clearly overworked and underpaid—was left to handle all orders, both walk-ins and mobile. I waited 10 minutes just to order, then another 15 to get my drink. By the time I got it, my phone had almost died from being in the store so long.
Sarah looked like she was ready to walk out from her job at any given moment!
With that being said, when you’re paying close to $10 for a cup of coffee, you want it right. My drink was light—about 2/3 full. When I asked if she could top it off, she told me she’d add “milk” and never circled back. After another long wait, I gave up, drank it as it was, and left.
To make things worse, the outside seating area was messy and uninviting. Coffee was fine, but for the price, portion, and service, it didn’t come close to expectations.
Starbucks, Boston—you need to step it up. Customers deserve consistency, full cups, and basic service for the price...
Read moreThis isn’t a horrible Starbucks but they could be better.
In the wintertime they don’t seem to keep the heat on at all or if they do it’s not running very much. After sitting down for more than 5 minutes you start to feel cold. I’ve had to stay wearing my jacket to eat something and instead of being able to sit down and use my laptop and enjoy my time, I have to rush out and have even left and gone to a library or other Starbucks because this one is too cold. I understand it can’t be hot because the baristas would be dying and most places get chilly after you sit and aren’t moving for more than a half hour but if it’s cold enough that I can’t even sit long enough to enjoy some egg bites, there’s a problem.
Idk if it’s anti homeless or just them cheaping out but either way, they’d probably up their sales if they upped the temps. There’s almost never anyone sitting around other than while they wait for their drink so I can’t be the only one who thinks this way.
Sometimes they’re slow even though they’re not busy or even have a drive thru but the people behind the counter are nice and I’ve had convos with them as well as them being patient unlike some other locations. I hope they fix the temp issue and keep the...
