Casa Mariachi Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Chelsea

I ordered a taco salad for pick up. The salad cost $9 according to their menu. When I walked in the order was incorrect but they went ahead and offered to fix it since it was their mistake. Then I'm ready to pay and she rings me up for $11.25. The tax on meals in the City of Chelsea is 7% on the dollar. Therefore it should've been $9.63. I asked her if she giving me the price off the menu and she said yes and that the rest is sales tax. I was already late getting back to work so I didn't feel like going back and forth. I doubled checked with the DOR sales on meals and they confirmed it was 7% and no the base which is 6.25%. Long story short, check your receipts. She gave me a hard time over the phone when I confronted her about her miscalculation and if she has been possible doing this to other restaurant patrons. She stated she would credit the difference and asked me If I was perfect and don't I make mistakes. I'm very disappointed with today's experience. Last time I grab lunch at this establishment ever again. It's sad because their delivery driver is soo nice and up beat and willing to help if there is ever a problem. But I am soooo good for now. Getting my order wrong, having to wait double haven called in advance and they getting over charged. Bye for now...

THEY GAVE ALCOHOL TO MY LITTLE BROTHER (10 years old)

allow me to explain honestly my brother ordered a pina colada and well let’s just say you can have it with or without alcohol. The waitress never asked with or without and so when my brother starts getting a little crazy and isn’t like himself. We didn’t know it had alcohol and never knew it included it until one of our family friends said that it brings alcohol.

I see this as the restaurants fault as we never knew that it had alcohol and my brother was wasted after that.

also something my mom ordered I think it was chicken with something, she said it wasn’t cooked today and they used a lot of sauces to cover it up.

Someone should come inspect this place and give the waitresses...

DINERS BEWARE OF THE WAITRESSES!!!!!!!!

Very disappointing that I was told the waitresses often overcharge when tables get drinks. i went anyway with some of my family and my husband. I am not a drinker, so I was the only one not drinking. I saw their bad behavior with my own eyes last night, and the waitresses added a whole order of drinks on to our tab and gave themselves a 40% tip. I was stunned, they denied anything and said it was only a 15% tip. PLEASE beware of this tactic- and the food isn't even...
