Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Cheltenham Township

I was excited to get my first water ice of the season. My favorites are the cream ice. I ordered cookies n cream ice and there was not one piece of 🍪 cookie! Lol! There are always pieces of cookie. I'm not sure what I ate but it wasn't what I've had over the years. Also, there were around 5 employees and I believe the owner was there with his young daughter. The little girl who was probably around 7 yrs old knew how to provide customer service vs the adults and older teenagers . She was the only one who greeted me. There was only one customer ahead of me and she was being helped . She even said to her friend how slow it was. After about 5 minutes someone finally came to the window to see what I wanted. I could see of it were first thing when they opened but it was after 5...they had plenty of time to do whatever they had to get together. I love Rita's and this is the closest one to me but, I find that there are a lot of young kids working here and there professionalism is lacking. One time I walked in and a young lady gave me a weird stare and a bit of attitude when taking my order. Today, two young ladies in the back were arguing with each other or about someone else and the line was long. The store was also very hot in the heat wave, no air conditioning??
