Okay so I’ve been ordering from them since last year. Around august. It’s my neighborhood Mexican spot. So personally I’ve had the following items:
Chicken Tinga Nachos 9/10 - could use more chips and sometimes they forget the beans. Otherwise perfection. If you can’t eat them fresh and don’t have an air fryer/oven- don’t get them. The chips wilt under all the condiments. The cheese? God given.
Taco Pizza & Mexican Pizza 9/10 & 8/10 - Taco pizza is as you would expect. They managed to bake all the toppings so they aren’t falling off. Perfect blend of ingredients. Flavor is there. I’m not a big pizza fan but I was sold on the taco pizza.
Cheesesteak 8/10: Sturdy good cheesesteak. It’s not Philly renowned but it gets the job done. Flavor is there - could use more meat imo but some people don’t like that.
Burrito 10/10 : Get it. Every ingredient is United but stands out. And you get house made tortillas chips for the extra that falls out. She’s thick.
Fries 8/10: Good fry on them but they never put anything you ask on them. Have your condiments handy.
Onion rings 9/10: golden and crispy. Onions aren’t stringy.
Wings 10/10: now it didn’t start as a 10. I have to make clear EVERYTIME I order , my wings well done (crispy). That’s because SOMETIMES they weren’t. We all know that consistency. But flavor is THERE. They season their wings thankfully. They arent monster wings either, if that isn’t your thing. I prefer regular sized wings. Iykyk. Now they know me because I order them so much that they make them extra crispy lol.
Overall, I love this place. I order from 3 probably 3 times a week and it’s...
Read moreOverall, I like the food from here and plan to continue ordering.
However, It's a bit on the pricey side and sometimes the quality is inconsistent. I've placed orders with a side of Mexican rice, and sometimes the rice will be undercooked or missing ingredients / seasoning that affects the flavor or texture. The same goes with the fajitas. Most of the time the cheese is melted into the chicken, and sometimes it's barely melted at all. At times I get plenty of tortillas, and sometimes you only get two or three. At times it will seem that food was set aside or rushed, to get it into the platter.
When the food is prepared properly, it's great. Very flavorful. Fresh ingredients. Relatively good portions. It's just the consistency that's an issue.
Also, some of the menu items are missing in between digital delivery platforms. You can only order the fajitas through doordash to best of my knowledge, because Uber eats and GrubHub don't have matching menu listings to the doordash menu. If that could be fixed, that would be helpful I'm when trying to find the best deals...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting this establishment which seems to be under new management and the staff is courteous however the restaurant itself needs some updating and a good cleaning to get rid of the dust and grime especially on the ceiling.
Ok on to the food:
My burrito experience here was very underwhelming to be honest especially at $9.99, I was expecting something packed with flavors but it was not and study to say, but I would have been better off going to Chipotle. I decided to give this place a try since I was looking for authentic Mexican flavors but instead of being greeted with smells of cilantro and fresh chopped onions I was bland and severely lacking in fresh Pico de Gallo and my selected meat (pork ). They even gave me the tiniest serving of salsa verde (1oz) to accompany the bland burrito. I pretty much received a rice and beand with cheap cheese burrito so sorry, next time I'll have to skip...
