The quality of take-out food and delivery is 100 Percent consistent in relation to the gourmet quality. Wadsworth Pizzeria has many decades of service – that has brought about pleasing the Mount Airy, Cheltenham, and West Oak Lane area. I have been extremely pleased with the service and quality of food that this establishment has offered through its impressive tenure.

Honorable mentions include their infamous Stromboli, Pizza Steaks made with just the right amount of seasoning and sauces – giving in to a delightful fulfilling meal. For patrons wishing to choose from a high calorie meal – there are many other options to choose from, which I must recommend – is he Wadsworth Greek Salad.

Without the cooks detailed preparation and planning, in addition to the owner attention to quality of service, Wadsworth Pizzeria would be another sub-par pizza/takeout Philly joint.

Owner and restaurant proprietor Laz has compiled a steady base of customers throughout the years by assuring that his kitchen staff is of top-quality – giving local residents/busy professional many options to choose from in a competitive environment.

Grill cook and lead-man Drissa is what helps make Wadsworth Pizzeria what it is, indeed, the lead has helped owner Laz keep this establishment at top of its game. And another honorable mention is part-time and long-time receptionist/order-taker Debbie; she is the ultimate professional.

If I could give a zero star I would and I’ll be sure to never spend my money here again. My food arrived earlier than expected which I’m grateful for however wasn’t able to get to the delivery guy once he arrived at that time. The food was already paid for so when he called I asked him to leave the food at the door he then said “I have to verify a person” I said okay be right down and as I’m walking down to get to the door he threw my food at my door. I asked him did he just throw my food at my door and he threw his middle finger up and jumped in his car. You don’t know who your deal with in Philly these days and it cost nothing to be professional at all times. I’m the one you don’t want problems with and jumping in the car and leaving was his best bet. I called to make a compliant and the manager was no better. I didn’t get any help and they couldn’t give me a solution to the problem. Once I opened the bag to check the food the platter that the food was in was all busted and my food was all over the place. I highly wouldn’t recommend. THERE HORRIBLE AND HAVE HORRIBLE...

My 6yr old wanted a slide and this was the closet spot. WORST CHOICE EVER!!! The 1 slide of cheese pizza too about 15-20min (they werent that bizy, esp for a Friday..shouldve been a red flag). Then when I finally go it...it didnt even look appetizing, I wish I took a pic. So we get home (about a 8min drive). The pizza was COLD...we've bought pizza in the area before (Stenton Pizza, Fila Pizza, much better options!) and travel home and never had a issue with the temp. The pizza crust was hard, it almost seem like they microwaved it...if you ever microwaved pizza then you know it gets cold and hard fast. smh...NEVER AGAIN!!! or at least not for Pizza...but there are better options close to me so yea...naw I'm cool. Only reason they got 2 stars is cuz the place looked clean and the staff at the counter...
