We went here for their NYE set menu. We last went for a bridal shower and it was fab! We had looked at their menu for days leading up and decided due to our preferences and allergies, we would go here. Considering it as $95, we wanted to be sure it was worth it. We did not care so much for the lobster raviolis that came out as an appetizer. Texture and sauce was decent, though. However, dinner came out hardly hot, I’d say lukewarm at best. 3 out of 4 of our mashed potatoes came out ice cold. They honestly resembled instant potatoes. Both steaks were cooked to be rare with silver skin still in one. So we asked if we could please get the potatoes fixed. Waiter seemed like he didn’t know what to do when we told him they were cold. But, more were brought out thankfully. Waiter didn’t check back and they were luke warm at best but we let it go. Dinner wasn’t that good, we all gave it a 5/10 at best. Lacked flavor and needed to be hot. We made the server and busser aware we were not overly pleased and stated it wasn’t that good and we were disappointed. Dessert time comes around. I guess they changed the dessert menu but their online site reflected the original options. (One option changed). We advised there were nut allergies at the table and they offered to replace the chocolate mousse with a chocolate lava cake but told us it had nuts. So we couldn’t do it. I personally settled for the key lime pie but its a drastic difference from chocolate! Overall, things could have been a lot better for $95, or had our waiter should have handled it better and maybe the lack of 10/10 food would have made the experience better. We then asked since one of us couldn’t get dessert if we could take another chocolate lava cake to go. Waiter said he couldn’t do it with the ice cream. Okay? We then asked if it could just be without ice cream. It just was all around just not a positive experience. $95 for sub par food, less than satisfactory service and a menu that changed once we brought it to our waiters attention what was reflected on the website wasn’t available. Management must have known because by the time we left, the online menu was updated. LOL. Yet management didn’t come over to talk about any of our concerns, unless the server did not tell him but since the menu online was updated, management was aware. $235 out the window for each couple.

We had high expectations on our first visit. The bar area is our jam when without the kids and this one was beautiful, compete with a massive chandelier and long bar top. The clientele were mixed. Other couples like us and small groups of apparently local regulars. When we arrived no one was at the host stand so we just walked thru. Nice music (the kind you’d expect from a classic Italian restaurant. The bar had no music at first and there was a private event with live music in the adjacent guessing private dining area. A manager came in and put on some sort of poppy dance music that totally didn’t fit the vibe of a classic Italian spot …. Think Sinatra. Anyways we sat there waiting for a menu. None came but the kind couple next to us let us borrow theirs. The bartender was curt at best. I think he already had a long weekend and it was showing. We weren’t the regulars at the end of the bar doing shots and he mostly disregarded us. The music selection was annoying not just us but others at the bar and we requested three separate times for management to change it. Eventually it happened but seemed like a big deal. Drinks and food offerings were decent although the Tagliatelle was much thinner than classic Piedmontese noodles that I prefer. We had made a reservation but decided on the bar and upon walking out we notified the host stand and we basically disregarded once again. Maybe Sunday evening isn’t the best time to visit here? Glad we tried it but the way we were treated and the favoritism towards the younger crowd was off putting. Sorry we aren’t regulars but we could have been treated better.

My husband and I were traveling along the turnpike and stopped by this restaurant hoping to find a place to sit and eat. We were lucky to have found it, located within 10 minutes of exit 3 if I’m not mistaken. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. In particular, our server Paulo was incredibly personable and attentive to our needs throughout the meal. His kindness was definitely the icing on the cake, making our lunch break much more enjoyable than we had expected. The food itself was absolutely delicious. We both ordered the soup of the day, and I was especially impressed with the shrimp and crab bisque. The Caesar salad we shared was more than enough for the two of us, and the ravioli bolognese was the perfect amount to round out our meal. We were so satisfied with our selections that we had to box up half of our meal to take home. Lastly, I wanted to mention how unforgettable the bread basket and sun-dried tomato dip were. It was a great way to start off the meal and set the tone for the rest of our dining experience. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the convenient location all made for an excellent lunch break. Thank you again for a wonderful meal, and we look forward to visiting your establishment again during our next travel.

What's the point of making reservations several weeks in advance if you're still going to have to wait 20 minutes to be seated? Right from the start this place was a disappointment. Let's start with parking. There isn't any. Most of the parking in the front is marked by other companies and you WILL be towed. Il Villaggio parks their catering vehicles right up front too, so you get to compete for parking with the actual restaurant as well. ALL the parking in the rear of the restaurant is marked by other companies and you WILL be towed. So, I tried parking in the neighboring parking lot. A business owner came out of his ice cream shop (he was extremely nice and helpful) and told me that this parking lot is monitored by cameras and the parking lot owners WILL have my car towed because they think it's funny. So, now I parked a block away.

Then when I finally get inside, there is that 20 minute wait even though I had reservations made well in advance. There were also FOUR other groups that had the same reservation time. What the hell is going on in here?

Once seated, the main dining area is in an extremely high ceiling room. With little to no tapestries, the sound of other diners is just deafening. There is nothing to absorb sounds making it impossible to have an intimate dining experience. Not to mention, seating is literally on top of each other. My wife and I might as well have been having dinner with two other couples maybe a foot and a half on either side of us.

For being billed as such fine dining, I found the food to be less than flavorful. The house special of seafood trio in a lemon olive oil was flavorless covered in lemon juice.

My wife had the salmon which she said was very good. I had the Veal Villagio. Paper thin veal cutlets that were WAY over cooked and tough. Potatoes were hard and crunchy (like they sat under a heat lamp for a while.)

Apparently, the couple next us had their order completely missed. Like, the kitchen lost the ticket. Management fawned all over them once the mistake was realized (which they should), but the layers upon layers of incompetence seemed to be felt throughout the restaurant, not just with us.

I will say that on a positive note, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Not entirely helpful when it came to final menu selections as according to him "everything was just amazing", but a very nice guy.

Over all, thumbs down. Not worth the aggravation, hassle and "meh" food for the price tag. At least my car wasn't towed. Happy Anniversary,...

Came in for Thanksgiving dinner place look nice and I thought the menu was a little sparse on the prefixed only one entree selection being turkey. They should have been like everybody else's does on prefix at least two other entrees so we had no choice but to order the turkey the appetizers we're okay the salad red beet and goat cheese salad but it was more like a salad that had beat and goat cheese in it not what we expected way to keep over and ask us how we enjoyed the appetizers we told them we didn't get the appetizers guess he wasn't on his game he's not a waiter he was just to order taker somebody else brings out the food wish we waited a long time for. Once again the bread came out it was disappointed most cases in an Italian restaurant you get some nice Italian sorted bread in your basket this was just sliced Italian loaf bread and it wasn't even warm. Entre came out took about 45 minutes or something that's already been cooked because the appetizers took 30 minutes the turkey was cut way too thick it was cut more like a prime rib made it very hard to cut and to eat especially my friend had a bad arm so cutting was a problem stuffing was served on a separate plate instead of under the turkey again was disappointed for an Italian restaurant the same to serve just stuffing not even Italian style it was nothing in on the menu that represented that restaurant when we complain to manager he was nice enough to take one meal off when I left I waited a long time for my check ran into him repeated all the problems and he said he served 700 meals nobody complained he suggested if we didn't like it not to come back again what an answer you can make friends not enemies that wasn't looking for free meal I was looking for good meal good service you should at least invited us back try out a real real Italian meal as I read about too bad you're ruin my...
