Barclay Pies — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

We had an amazing experience with ordering Barclay Pies for a family birthday party that we hosted and I can't recommend them enough! I see reviewers raving about BP for their gluten-free pizza (which I love for local GF families!) but I wanted to write a review to highlight how great they are with allergens in general. As an allergy mom myself (kiddos w/ dairy and egg allergies), celebrations involving food often mean extra work/stress for me in order to ensure my kids have a safe food option for them. While it's gotten easier over time, it often means an extra stop to a different grocery store and/or preparing their food myself. When I saw BP had a dairy-free margherita pizza that was labeled vegan, I reached out to confirm that the dough and everything was dairy and egg free. I received a quick and thorough response that it was, including that they used dedicated pizza cutters for dairy free pizzas to avoid cross-contamination. While I know they cannot guarantee allergy-free due to allergens being present, I really appreciate that they go the extra mile to minimize cross-contamination when possible. We were able to order pizzas for the party that EVERYONE at the party could eat, which was amazing. And the pizzas were delicious on top of that. Everyone was raving about it. Thank you BP for bringing a local option to allergy families - we've truly been waiting for you!

First off the staff are all knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to answer all my neurotic silly questions.

Nothing wheat goes in the fryer—so it makes the wings, fries and tenders gluten free (yep the coating is gluten free) and the sauces and dips are scratch made and gluten free. The only wheat/gluten is the regular pies. With that said they have different prep space, different colored utensils, separate mixers, toppings etc for gluten free pizza that is baked on a tin. One of the owners wife’s is GF so they get it. 🙌🏻

The pizza crust had a nice chew and fluffy a bit more reminiscent of Detroit style but delicious nonetheless!! Also shared an order of wings with my wing-connoisseur husband and he said these were probably one of the best order of wings he’s had out of his lengthy list of wing places. I also typically don’t care to eat wings cause typically it’s a messy hot mess to get not a whole lot of meat, yep I’m lazy. Holy goodness, these wings were top notch! Big, crispy, meaty wings and the honey garlic sauce was ahhh-mazing!!!!

This place should not be missed! Small but modern spot—but they have a good thing going!! They’re going to need to expand soon, they have the formula down and take allergies seriously. Other places need...

Me and my girlfriend who’s celiac went to Barclay Pies after hearing great things on TikTok about their new spot that offers gluten-free options. We’re always on the hunt for the best GF places, and this one absolutely blew us away.

The environment was comfortable and fun, and the service was impeccable. After seeing on their Instagram how carefully they prepare their gluten-free pies, we were already excited, but when one of the owners, TJ, personally brought our pie to the table, we were floored. It was hands down the best gluten-free pie we’ve ever had.

Then came the wings, and somehow, the experience got even better. They were unbelievably good, crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. When TJ came back to check in, you could tell how much they care, and go the extra mile.

Before we left, TJ even surprised us with a one of their new GF Sweeties cookie collab, which was really good too!
