THE TALE OF THE āFREEāCHARBURGER: We had a really frustrating experience tonight at Habit Cherry Hill. This was our 2nd time attempting to order from the app that the website encourages you to download. The app gives you daily āoffersā but the offers donāt work! So today I called the customer service number and was helped by two people who attempted to assist me in getting todayās āfree char burger with the purchase of a drink ā. We couldnāt get it to work so the 2nd support person in customer care courteously emailed me a free char burger code to use in the store, which my husband usedā¦. BUT when he got home and unpacked the bags there was NO char burger!?! Unbelievable, right? So heās back in the car driving to Habit again- He gets to the store and now heās hangry - but polite. He brings the bags and receipt back and explains to the counter person that we didnāt get the char burger to which they respond that they took it off of the check?!? He explained we didnāt ask them to that , we WANTED the BURGER and didnāt get it! So now his Santa Barbara sandwich& fries & my hotdog are getting cold and they tell him heāll have to pay for the free char burger to which he responded seriously? Iām never coming back. Oh well, the food is good but this was so mishandled that I donāt know if heāll ever agree to go back. When he got home he ate half of his cold Santa Barbara & didnāt eat any of the cold fries⦠what a waste of time and money. I think we are owed a refund for a ruined meal- it would been simpler to have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMid-level chain burger joint. The woman behind the counter could not have been less interested in the fact that I had arrived at the counter; she was busy bagging an order for a delivery driver to pick up (who wasn't there yet) - and waited for the cooks to hand her the last item(s) so she could bag it up before she finally turned around to address me, with minimal talk and almost no eye contact. (Later, when my order was ready, she just dropped it on the counter and walked away without announcing it or providing any sort of notification. I was sitting at a table 15 feet away, and had to get up and guess that it was my order.) The food was okay. The onion rings were mostly breading, less onion, and the meat on the burger had a very "pre-made frozen patty" sort of vibe - like something you'd get in a school or cafeteria lunchroom. But it tasted okay, I guess. Just not impressed, when you factor in that my meal of a patty melt, side of onion rings and a small drink cost almost $18 (including tax.) If I'm going to spend that much, I'm probably choosing 5 Guys next time. Overall, not offensive,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNumber 1 reason why I'll never tip at a fast food like place on a to go order.... My first and last time ever at this place. It took 11 minutes to make my grilled chicken sandwich with me as the only person at the place.... I took a bite in my car and something on it (coleslaw or pickles) TASTED FISHY/ALMOST SPOILED. I spit it out immediately after my first bite and walked back into the place.
I did bring the food back in and showed the guy Eric who was figgeting with my receipt and then gave me cash back instead of my full refund on my debit card which included the tip. When I asked what I paid he said he rang it up and gave me back the amount it rang as and then I said "I paid ---" dude walked away from the register and went to the back before I showed him the receipt again.
Hope he enjoys my one bite sandwich bag full of vomit add the terrible rating review that can't with it.. keeping a $1.06 from a terrible experience is not worth the rating. I'll never tip again on to go nor fast...
