I saw the feature on Tacoria on NJ News 12 last night and decided I would go to Tacoria for lunch today (10/21/25). I went to the location in Cherry Hill.
The tacos come with your choice of protein, salsa, onions, cilantro, cotija cheese, and crema, on a corn tortilla. I ordered 2 tacos with "pollo al pastor" (chicken marinated in house blend of spices and pineapple with avocado verde). I did not want cilantro and asked for light onions, light cheese, with the salsa and avocado verde on the side. People, look at the photo! Look at the amount of chicken in one taco! I've been to other taco restaurants where you can count about 5 small pieces of chicken and rest of the taco filled with cabbage and all sorts of madness. Not this restaurant! Chicken was in abundance in that taco and it was juicy. The avocado verde was nice and spicy and no dairy (a plus for me). I had a guava and basil fresca drink which was refreshing. It was not sweet and overpowering, which was perfect.
Also, they were playing some 90s R&B music that had me jamming. I had to ask who selected the music and fist bump that person LOL. There was seating inside and outside in the back, which is where I sat so I could get some sun.
Great experience at the Cherry Hill location! The employees were friendly and engaging. There's free parking as well. I will definitely return if I'm in...
Read moreSo good!! Forgive the photos because I had to dig in immediately! Visited for the first time today, was immediately greeted and provided with menus as soon as we walked through the door. Julian was kind, knowledgeable, and personable in helping us decide how to go through our first visit. I got two of the vegetarian options for tacos: fried avocado and roasted brussel sprouts and let me tell you, they were damn good veggie tacos. Usually you go somewhere and vegetarian meals are an afterthought, but they were creative and well prepared. My partner got the chorizo which looked very fresh. Super tasty and flavorful, and a barage of sauce/topping options aswell from pantry-staple hotsauces to housemade salsas. Julian was so kind to provide us with samples of their agua frescas, which were very unique, definitely would've liked ice but they're working out some kinks in their first week! There's a rewards system and app available as well which I opted in for immediately, scoring a free order of chips and guac, super fresh and crisp, good portion. My only wish is if they offered flour tortillas, but I didn't ask so maybe they do! All in all great time and will be coming back. Great food...
Read moreAbsolutely loved my first visit here. The people inside were so nice and friendly and the place feels really comfortable and inviting. My food was done really quickly as well and you can tell everyone in there is working hard and enjoys what they are doing.
I thought the pricing was fair compared to a lot of other places in the area. Didn't feel like I spent more than I would at Chipotle or somewhere else similar. But even if it was more expensive, the taste sure made up for it! I'm fine paying more for good quality food and this was definitely good quality. I got a carne asada burrito and it was loaded and had such good flavor. It was the perfect size and everything in it was so fresh tasting. The habanero salsa that they offer down with all the other sauces was so refreshing on my burrito. Not too spicy but still had a good kick and tasted so fresh. It was my favorite of the 3!
If I could offer maybe one minor tweak, the amount of meat compared to beans and rice was maybe a little bit lacking. Not a ton but definitely could have used a little more! But overall really liked this place and will definitely be my go to for...
