Turning Point of Cherry Hill — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

After multiple times coming to this specific location, I believe I can gauge into the proper review. The last three times I visited had been mediocre, even for a franchise brunch place. I understand is been understaffed and such but how hard is it to cook eggs. How hard is it to clean mugs and or whatever other utensils are provided. Not only is it disgusting, it kills appetite. If you know you are providing something half way because you dropped it while cooking or on your way to serve it to a customer, just replace it or let the knowing, paying, slick customer like myself know you will fix the issue without having to act stupid or blaming it on someone else. Lastly, even after an improper greeting or treatment I was willing to see past that, since I cared more about the food than the way a waitress is treating me; although it goes in hand with a restaurant review. I usually do not write reviews, but I did feel disappointed wasting my time coming here to start my birthday with a nice simple breakfast, therefore a juicy review is a must. I had even told my wife “I bet they are going to mess the food up”. Nevertheless, they failed indeed. If you are a sup, manager, or anyone in charge of the Turning Point in Cherry Hill, NJ. I do not care for your reply nor attempt into fixing this complaint since I would not be coming back here and there are plenty of other places to have eggs at. If you are someone that is looking into coming here based on the menu, please do yourself a favor and try the Mount Laurel location instead or any other brunch place in fact. It was my first time there through a recommendation, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was packed which made me think this was going to be a wonderful brunch. I sat down at the bar because I didn't want to wait for a table, I was starving. The first thing I noticed was the very hazy dirty glasses sitting upside down on the bar, the bar top was sticky. That wasn't a major problem but it spoke volumes about the cleanliness of the place. The server replaced the glasses and we placed our order, I chose a very simple dish called, "the basic", the way I see it, how can you mess up eggs and potatoes right? Well, the eggs were overcooked and the potatoes were hard, overtoasted and salty. I hate to send a dish back so I ate the eggs because I was starved and had to have something in my stomach. I tried to add ketchup to the potatoes to try to minimize the salt taste, and again I was disappointed, the ketchup bottle was so sticky with who knows what that I had to go to the restroom to wash my hands. Overall I would have to say, the English muffin was the best thing on my plate even though I could tell it was not as fresh as all the signs in the place would have you think. First, I will start with the food was great! Absolutely amazing. It came quick, cooked to perfection and flavor was to die for! Secondly, the service was okay, we were seated in the back corner near a side door. There were flies that would constantly surround my table and we could constantly have to swat them away. We asked the waitress if she could lock the door so the flies would stop getting in. She said okay and then walked away and never locked the door or said it was okay for us too. We only received two sets of utensils and two sets of napkins. Mind you we had 4 people with us. Asked for the items and didnt receive them. Wound up just getting up and grabbing them for ourselves. Finally, at the end of our meal, we never got boxes to go. Waitress never came back around so we tried flagging down a separate waitress. She mouthed somthing to the effect of "ugh this table" and then walked over to us and looked at my table as if we were a bother. We wound up grabbing out own to go boxes instead of being an inconvenience to the staff member.
