Visited this awesome intimate restaurant this past Sunday & oh so glad we did. The owner Peter gave us so much insight into the history of Chinese tea; how/where certain leaves are picked, how many decades ago and then the best part was the actual experience!! Then came our food; I had the ‘Supreme of the Sea’ and so mad I forgot to take a pic of my plate.
Everything was super fresh, perfectly seasoned and well worth every penny!! We also had the ‘2010 Queen tea’ and Peter explained exactly how to sip and enjoy each ounce and the feeling after was lovely.
I typically don’t get desserts but the ‘homemade raspberry sorbet’ w/ the rice cookie was insanely delicious!! That cookie is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted but it did put me in mind of my Mama’s homemade rice pudding. It’s soft yet crispy on the outside, and moist/chewy on the inside. We ordered a box to go, and in hindsight I wish we ordered 2 boxes of 4 lol.
I was in town on business but I’m originally from Jersey so best believe my next visit home, Hong Kong is DEFINITELY getting a visit from me. Do yourself a favor and visit too, you won’t be...
Read moreWe stalked this place for 1 months. We love an hour away. We finally decided to take the drive today 7/3/24 @2pm and we are happy we did. We were met by Mr. Peter, who was so welcoming. He seated us, we needed to use the restroom and he showed us where. We knew already what we wanted to get, and he took our order. Mr. Peter offered us tea to taste and boy was it good. Our food came out and it is the best Chinese food we have had in some years. I have attached a video to show what we got. The food was flavorful and so tasty. We ordered Broccoli in garlic sauce which I give a 9/10, beef spicy lo mien 100/10, habenora spicy general tso chick 1000/10, pork fry rice 100/10 and honey walnut shrimp which was a 8/10 because it was a new taste for us. Overall our experience is amazing, so much so I’m still here writing this review. If you are looking for an amazing atmosphere and host and food, I highly recommend this place. Thank You...
Read moreNot sure what happened, New to the area, looking for a new Chinese restaurant. First time here, reviews and all seemed good. Ordered Jumbo shrimp chicken and beef. Got a soggy box of chicken and beef soiled in stinky fish sauce with no shrimp. Threw it out. Also ordered a pork lo mein hoping I could have something to eat tonight, the whole thing tasted like cinnamon... It was like I was eating candy noodles... I don't understand, I wanted a simple meat entree and some noodles and it seemed like you purposely wanted to make it bad (or put a spin on it and think you were doing something different and good? IDK), I don't know how you mess up noodles man... why would you pour cinnamon into it? gross. and if you do...... put that on the menu so I don't spend a ton of money on it. Everything went into the trash...... Just keep it normal. No wierd fish sauce and no cinnamon in my noodles, what's...
