Little Korean restaurant in a quiet plaza. The place poses itself as a counter service cafe, with signs to order at the front, but they offered me service like a traditional sit down restaurant. Maybe it was a quiet day so they had time to offer more service.

Got a stone bugolgi bowl, seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and a bugolgi kimbap. Everything was great. They even came with some banchan, miso soup, and barley tea!

Bugolgi was what I expected, and exactly what I wanted. If I were on the go, I'd probably be happy with the bugolgi kimbap. The pancake and tteokbokki were much larger than I anticipated. Actually, I don't think I've ever had such large rice cake for tteokbokki before. It came with some fish cake and even a hardboiled egg!

Food was nice, felt lighter and less greasy than other restaurants. I'm not sure if that would appeal to most American taste buds with highly salted or highly buttered foods. The place feels more home cooked, something you could probably eat really often without feeling unhealthy.

Place is run by an older korean man and woman, but there wasn't any language barrier. They were both very nice and friendly.

Looks like there's a single room bathroom in the back, but I didn't go in to check it out.

There are window decals with some desserts and bubble tea depicted, but I didn't see them on the menu. That said, I think I saw a variety of powders flavors behind the counter that might've been for bubble tea.

There's decent seating inside, maybe 10 or so tables seating 4 each or so.

Left stuffed, there was actually a lot more food than I was expecting. I think it's a good deal.

-- Updates: Menu seems to be ever changing as they refine their business. It seems they'll soon be offering some bean shaved ice dessert and ice cream. Also it looks like fried chicken is now on the menu!

They've hired a front hand to take orders and serve, so it seems to be fully...

As we walked in the lady greeted us right away. We sat down but she didn't come so after a bit I went up and grabbed menus. After reviewing the whole menu she finally came to the table to bring the menus. Two guys were there at another table but that was it. They weren't eating, just talking.

The food we ordered wasn't great. I ordered one item but she crossed it off in front of me and said she didn't offer it anymore because it wasn't popular. The sul long tang just tasted like water. It had a few pieces of meat. She brought rice and a small bowl of noodles to add to it. She tells me to add cubed kimchi to the soup to make it taste better but she seemed insecure about the soup. I don't recommend it. The miso soup was just given to each of us and was good. I ordered 2 types of mondu: fried broccoli and shrimp and steamed kimchi. I couldn't taste the shrimp. The kimchi mondu was cool like it wasn't cooked recently but it tasted ok. The sides dishes were good. Mom says the kimchi mondu soup was good. Dad liked the bibimbap but it was on the small side. The spicy japjae had enough spice but needed salt. It was bland and the hard to chew noodles made it hard to enjoy. Maybe the other items on the menu are better but I...

Delicious food at a great price. Tender veg with the bulgogi with other pickled daikon and bean sprouts over rice bowl hit the spot for lunch, sides of crispy gyoza(even after a 30 min drive before I got to eat them), and gimbap had beef(choice of chicken or beef) in it! Good sesame flavor with crunchyness of the pickles in it and beautifully cut and wrapped well. Hate when it falls apart.. but I would just put in my bowl and eat it if that happened.

Had to come back and edit the bowls came with a side of seaweed soup. Was so good I devoured it all first. Was light but not watered down, full flavored. If you are worried about salt might need to dilute.

Only thing that would make it better was if I could get a side of kimchi or a fried egg to upgrade my bowl.. will ask if that’s a possibility next time with the bibimbap. Will be going there weekly. I love take out with a bowl to make life easier.

They just had a grand opening l, very friendly so hope they keep growing and...
